I don't think they look too bat, but that is just my opinion. Remember the initial reactions to the fith gen starters? I must admit though, the pig pokemon (not the starter) looks a bit odd. It'll probably be a replacement for spoink in this game. My 10 year old brother wants the cog pokemon though... and the crocodile and the pigeon and the...

Strangely, the ape reminds me of Dr. Robotnick/Dr. Eggman though...

I think they svck,look at them..they're all a bad ripoff of something in the past or just really stupid(wtf is that monkey thing?).

I can't blame Nintendo for running out of ideas,but if this is really the best they can come up with they should just end the Pokemon series without ruining it.

And the term 'Unpleaseable fanbase' is now being applied to pokemon fans again... It seems that everytime a new generation appears a war starts again which ends up with either the new generation or generation 3 being critisized... why can't everyone get along in any game fanbase when a new game appears? The only thing that anyone in the pokemon fandom can agree on is that Bidoof is a horrible and annoying pokemon and that magikarps shouldn't be mocked unless you want your face eaten...

Sorry if I sound like I am flaming/trolling/greifing, it's just that I don't like the constant stream of critsism that any new pokemon game (apart from HG and SS) gets when they don't really deserve it.

My post national pokedex team is probably going to be:
1. Fully evolved version of the grass snake pokemon currently known as 'Smugleaf'.
2. Swampert.
3. Lucario (obvious choice).
4. The pokemon currently known as 'Zoroark' (if it is not an event only pokemon. If it is, I will choose a fully evolved version of the pokemon that is currently known as 'Meguroko)
5. Missingno (only joking. I will put Flygon here).
6. Fully evolved version of Gear or Metagross.
NOTE: This list is currently subject to change... of course, Lucario and Swampert will be in all of my lists.

As far as I know the only way to get ahold of zorark, sadly, is to have one of the event dogs (Raikou, Entei, Suicune) on your team in a certain area and you'll get to fight him then.
So it's looking like you're gonna have to change up that slot.

Edit: Even more reason to use the croc: It has an attack that boosts it's own attack when it kills a pokemon. I'm naming mine scrambles.

As far as I know the only way to get ahold of zorark, sadly, is to have one of the event dogs (Raikou, Entei, Suicune) on your team in a certain area and you'll get to fight him then.
So it's looking like you're gonna have to change up that slot.

Why all the hate for bidoof/bibarel? Besides competitive reasons, I really want to know.

Edit: Looks like the pig fetus thing is getting an attack called telekinesis which makes things float. Only thing I can see this being useful for is eliminating ground type moves all together.
