I still remember tracy's pokemon venonat, syther and merill. I wonder if any of his pokemon have evolved.

Not a damn one. In other news, Ash's Cyndaquil evolved into a Quilava.

If it was pokemon stadium 1 and 2 rules that would be funny.

Can you explain please? (never played Stadium 1 or 2)

Also, there is a new event on wi-fi. Shame I can't access wi-fi at the moment (I have sky broadband, which won't connect automatically...).

Yeah, funny thing about my situation, I can connect perfectly fine whenever I want to use the internet app on my DSi, but I can't connect to wi-fi seriously what the [censored] Nintendo.

They did make a wireless wi-fi device thing though. I had one but it overheated (I think, either way it is unuseable) and they don't support those anymore. Hopefully the 3DS will have better wi-fi support and if it doesn't, at least B/W is connectable to the internet via a computer.

Same here.
I've liked em all but the only ones I liked about 3rd gen were
-zangoose
-seviper
-ludicolo
-absol
-blaziken

All the others didn't really excite me.

I kind of thought Generation Two was already stretching Pokemon. Gen. Three was bearable. Once Gen. Four came around I thought Pokemon had gone down the drain completely.

Pokemon stadium rules(except for free battle) state no 2 of the same pokemon may be used in any tournament.

I started playing through Pokemon Yellow for nostalgia. Butterfree is beasting through the beginning of the game, just like when I was a kid.

Heh, I have fold memories of farming the Viridian Forest to level up my Caterpie into a Butterfree, knowing that with it I would have a much better chance of beating the first gym leader. Of course, at the time, I didn't know or care about whether or not a Bug type could do well against a Rock type, I just thought if I had high level Pokemon, I would be able to win.

What? Are there people getting up in arms whenever the originals are criticized?

Yes, haven't you noticed the large amounts of people, even on this forum, who think Pokemon went down the crapper after Gen 1?

Yeah but preferring Gen 1 and freaking out if someone criticizes it are two different things. I mean you'd have to be pretty damn devoted to Gen 1 to think it's Kanto was even close to the most unique region in Pokemon.

This is more of what I meant. If gen 1 is your favorite then fine. But frothing at the mouth when it's criticized is rather odd.

I just knew that when you got a Butterfree it learned confusion, and confusion kicked the crap out of all of Brock's pokemon. 'Course I only did that when I got a Charmander in Red/Blue.

Not sure who the rest of my team is. I'll probably drop Butterfree eventually. Right now I know that I want a Charizard and Gyarados, and I'll be using Pikachu since I always keep my starter. ehhh I might just give up and go back to playing Soul Silver, since I haven't actually finished it. Haven't even beaten the elite four actually...

I've got to say, after watching that video, this game looks like it will be really, really good. I can't wait to try out High Link, as it seems like the closest we'll be getting to co-op, a feature I've been wanting in Pokemon games since forever.

Same here. This game looks like one of the best so far. The only thing that would make it even better is if they add in an option to travel to the other regions, but that would probably be asking too much.

I tried playing Pokemon again but just couldn't. I deleted my old save a while back and don't have the heart to go play to back to the through all that again. I wish I could go back to the days before I demanded good graphics. :sadvaultboy:

Could be worse. Some people say that there was only four pokemon games (Red, Blue, Yellow and Stadium) and 151 pokemon. Try to reason with those people and you'll be incinerated with the amount of flaming you'll recieve. I've even heard complaints that HG/SS and FR/LG wasn't exactly the same as G/S/C and R/B/Y (as in same graphics, same music, same console, same trainer levels, same generation e.t.c. They even complain that Whitney's Miltank is one level lower than before)

I tried playing Pokemon again but just couldn't. I deleted my old save a while back and don't have the heart to go play to back to the through all that again. I wish I could go back to the days before I demanded good graphics. :sadvaultboy:

Here's an easy way to go back in time:
1. Find a blue ocarina
2. Play this song:
Right,A,Down,Right,A,Down
If it works, you should go back in time.

If it doesn't, then just play the old pokemon games and don't worry about the graphics (remember, good graphics don't always make a good game)
