Playing through saphire again to get a master ball (just so I can catch another one of the runners in soulsilver) I've learned that ninjask is a murder beast.
Took down a camerupt that was 10 levels higher than me. I love this little bastard.

Edit: Welp, he just beat the piss out of kyogre.(One shoted that whale.) Ninjask is officially my new favorite bug creature.

Heracross is my favorite bug type. Hey I have an idea! Favorite pokemon of each type! Categorized by their primary types, flying type is given a pass, since literally every flying type has a different primary. Except for Arceus, but who cares about him?

Bug: Heracross
Dark: Umbreon
Dragon: Dragonite
Electric: Electabuzz
Fighting: Primeape, but could be Lucario. I don't have any of the Sinnoh games, so I haven't used one yet.
Fire: Arcanine/Charmander tie
Flying: Lugia nowadays, but in gen 3 it was all about Crobat
Ghost: Misdreavus
Grass: Chikorita
Ground: Flygon
Ice: Articuno
Normal: Persian
Poison: Nidoking

All bug has very few options,especially in Pearl where Scizor can't get Bullet Punch(he's pretty much useless without it).

I can't really think of enough usable bug pokes to make a team of.

Eh,it's pretty worthless outside of playing against the AI..people get one poke asleep then switch.

Darkrai is a great poke,but I don't like it much.

If it was Ghost instead of Dark it would be in my team over Giratina,but the ability to block Rapid Spin makes Giratina a much better choice for me.

I use Wobb,no Destiny Bond though.

I like being able to encore a status move then set up Safe Guard and switch to Rayquaza to set up a Swords Dance and destroy.

Destiny Bond would see very little use if I did choose it over Safe Guard,not that Safe Guard gets much use..but hey,why not carry it?

Only notable thing you can do with it is kill a Blissey locked into Seismic Toss instead of it staying with 19%(assuming standard EV spread).

Ah alright. Makes sense. I just always went with destiny bond after the hilarious win my buddy got in the elite four with a level 5 wobbuffet.

Just beat the elite 4 on saphire. Didn't have money for revives or anything like that so I just healed up at the center and went in thinking I'd just keep loosing until I got a good bit of money. Well, that plan went out the window after ninjask proceeded to beat the piss out of everything, gaining me a total victory.

Pidgey and HootHoot are pretty bad.

Pidgeot has poor stats,and Noctowl is more of a wall,making it fairly useless in-game.

Plus if you're not able to trade to evolve it Onix is terrible.

Also,Arbok is another quite poor Pokemon.

In-game everything works,but overall those are poor pokes..I'd say just go with Totodile+Ghastly+maybe Pidgey if you want and pick up some different pokes as you go.

No reason to have a 6 poke team before you beat the first gym,just limiting yourself to bad pokes for the whole game.
