Here's an interesting fact, the deer Pokemon will evolve differently based on what season it is.

:o

I must use the deer now. I feel strangely compelled to evolve him during the winter so I have a reindeer.

I've got my team figuired out, at the moment I'm training to get all my pokemon to 40 so I can beat Clair, I hate her Kingdra. Know any good places to grind?

Only one I can think of is Ice Path. It doesn't have much high lvl pokemon, but it's the highest lvl'd area at the current time. If you want to train you pokemon to have high defence, then go to the route below blackthorn city. The geodude, graveler and skarmory there all give defence IVs while the gravelers there also give a large amount of experience (and they are quite common although they do have a nasty tendancy to explode in those areas). Other than that, the only thing that will help against Kingdra is luck (or a really fast pokemon with a dragon attack).

I'm guessing the new criminal team will be using fire, electric (both are commonly related to as plama in games) and probably steel (based on the 'armour' like stuff they are wearing) types and that trainer called N will end up helping them in summoning one of the two legendaries, which probably won't be too happy being summoned. When will weird crimainal teams learn that you should never try summoning things that are able to destroy the world? It never seems to work due to the fact that the thing being summoned usually won't listen to their 'masters' and will end up destroying them too... At least they give us something to beat up/shove into a electronic ball-thing.

I hope the high-link works as intended in B/W. I know it won't allow gyms to be completed while it is switched on but at least you don't need the union room anymore to trade and have quick battles.

I think I'm going to go Vaporeon instead of Umbreon, then I can have 2 special attackers, 2 physical attackers, 1 mixed attacker, and a tank.
EDIT: My Gengar knows Shadow Ball, thunderbolt, energy ball, and phsychic, so should I get rid of energy ball and replace it with dark pulse, or not?

It's your opinion on this one. Both attacks are good although dark pulse has a better side effect (flinching instead of lowering Sp-Attack) and can take out Psychic types (which is a major problem for Gengar) but energy ball will allow you to take out those annoying water pokemon and will be of great help if you are unlucky enough to fight a swampert (it won't survive against it). So it's your choice here as both are really good attacks (also, you can buy dark pulse but not energy ball).

Well yeah I guess Energy Ball offers better type coverage...

Pokebeach has some more new pictures up.

I can't decide if I like the sassy swan or not. I mean, it is sassy. But I'm just not feelin the design.

Is it just me or did they totally make the mother of the new female character a Mammy? Considering the new character is pretty much the first character in Pokemon that's obviously black (Brock is just tan), by the looks of her mother it seems as if the animators just realized that black people exist and decided to research them with Encyclopedia Dramatica.

So I wasn't the only one who thought that.

Stereotypes are handled differently in Japan, so what is horribly racist here doesn't seem as bad in Japan.

Does anyone with Heartgold have an extra Sneasel lying around? I really want one for my Soul Silver. I'll give whatever I can, but my SS file is only up to the Rocket takeover in Goldenrod.

That's fine, I never was one who got uber pokemon from my other games in order to beat a specific Pokemon game. I usually wait until getting the national dex anyways.

Refresh my memory, what do you have to do to get the national dex? Beat the elite four or something like that? It's been a long time since I've played a Pokemon game.

It usually requires something else after the Elite Four. In D/P/PT I think you had to have seen all the pokemon in the Sinnoh dex before getting the National dex.

Ugh, what is wrong with people on the GTS? There was only one reasonable Sneasel available (looking for a Hitmonchan). The rest wanted legendaries or my favorite, a level 100 Dragonite (for a level 1 Sneasel). So stupid.

They're probably dikeing around with the clone glitch.

Anyway I've decided that I don't like any of the starters from gen 2. So I'm switching out feraligatr for whiscash because whiscash is awesome. Even if he is a water type.

What do you mean "even if he is a water type"? Water types are the definition of awesome in Pokemon! Whiscash is even more awesome because he is part ground as well

Water and Ground are my two favorite types.

I hate the water types. Except for Barboach/Whiscash(since he's ground.), Ludicolo(because he's a damn ludicolo.), kabuto/kabutops, and Bibarel. Every other type I just can not stand using.
Same go's for grass. Again, ludicolo is different because he's a ludicolo, the greatest creature ever made.
