Reading that made me realize that reshiram and Zekrom really are yin/yang. Which makes me sad for some reason. Dunno, I guess I was just hoping this gen's legendaries wouldn't be too huge in power.

Edit: It's not gonna bother me much though. And it's mostly why I like Victini. It reminds me a lot of gen 1's legendaries where they were just sorta there. Yeah they had a bit of backstory but weren't god's. Victini really seems, based on it's design, that it's gonna be just like them. Plus it has asswings.

What do you mean "even if he is a water type"? Water types are the definition of awesome in Pokemon! Whiscash is even more awesome because he is part ground as well

Nope. I like the fire and dragon types as well as water.

Just had a look on the event finder on the Pokemon Play website. I'm not surprised that there is no tournaments around here (Alnwick) and that the closest one is 30+ miles away and is starting tomorrow. Hopefully a tournament will soon appear around here but I'm not holding my breath about that one... (I know there is one on these forums but I can't enter at all as I have sky broadband and a Windows 7 computer and a (dieing) Windows XP laptop)

Also, who in B/W is going to replace the resident useless fish (magikarp), now that he is not in the pokedex? Still, at least we won't be swarmed by 1,000,000+ zubat this time...

Nah, I'm with you on grass. I really can't think of any I like...on top of that they have the most weaknesses of any type (I think I'm, right on this) with fire, ice, flying, bug, and poison.

DS just broke (literally a day before I go on holiday) so it looks like I am back to playing Generation 3 games again... (DS fell of cabinet, taking my brother's PSP with it (that survived...) and broke the top screen. Now the only thing that shows on that screen is a line of dead pixels...) At least it gives me time to complete Leaf Green so I can give it back to my (other) brother.

Sooo we have the next generation's crappy useless electric type! Awesome! At least that's an interesting type combination, it can be the NU version of Zapdos. The rock type reminds me of a Megaman enemy (just the head of it).

Ah ok. I don't want to restart THAT bad though. I'll probably be picking up Platinum soon though. Been feeling like playing a lot of pokemon with the new reveals.
