Unofficial Pokemon thread #15

Anyone who chooses the grass starter and doesn't rename it as Smugleaf is a terrible person.

Do I know you? Hahaha, it's just that my friend said that to me this morning and I thought it was funny :)

Not buying Black or White, not a fan of Pokemon over the 251 mark. So I'll just stick to Soul Silver and wait for the eventually remake of it in a decade :whistling:

i pulled off an all nighter yesterday playing pokemon white :whistling:

I traded a solosis for a level 1 Zorua male :D. i caught another solosis and im asking for a female zorua so i can breed them and give them away to friends or something. cheaper than buying a new ds :P

what is new about it? it seems easier to level up when you have the lucky egg and exp share.

Experience points are determined by both the enemy level and your pokemon level. When you are a higher level than the pokemon you are fighting, the amount of experience points you get is significantly cut.

Of course, when you are a lower level than the enemy, you get extra experience points. So it helps you get to their level faster, but makes it a huge PITA to up-level.

Gyarados is on of the best HM slaves, as it can learn all but fly and cut. Get a Tropius for fly and cut.

If you want to keep your Panpour HM slave, Tropius can also learn Strength. Tropius can be found on route 14

i didnt know that. is that close to the elite four? Im looking through bulbapedia and i think drilbur would be a good hm slave for strength, cut, rock smash ect. I just hope i dont need to many hm slaves to get through victory road.

Route 14 is south of Undella Town

rock smash isn't an HM in B/W, AFAIK it can't be used out of battle anymore

*snaps pansears neck*
Disgrace to the fire type. I'm so glad I called him turd. He has extreme difficulty taking on... well... anything. I'm sure more success would be gained if I could bring a Bidoof over. He's made me so mad with his ineptitude I'm tossing him into the back of the box somewhere never to be seen again.

I have no idea, but that pokemon is seriously a disgrace. I'm just baffled as to how it could be so crappy. There's not much other fire pokemon either.

Fire pokemon, in general, seem to receive the short end of the stick, along with poison...poor poor poison. At least fire has legendary guys, poison is horrifically neglected. Unless black and white changed that.

Are you crazy? Darmanitan is one of the best pokemon in all of gen V. His attack is insane, and if you get a good nature, there's nothing better.

Not that monkey, that one looks amazing. I said there wasn't MUCH as in numbers of fire pokemon in relation to other types. Please let's focus here.
