Thanks for 1.3 update.

Will the Francesco's MOBS version of the esp (Unofficial Shivering Isles Patch MOBS) be usable with 1.3 as it was with 1.2?
I would like to know can I use it as before for FCOM purposes.
Thanks.

Navermind my question, I read the conversation above, went to the Nexus, downloaded, omoded and activated the patch for MOBS 1.3 alreqady.
Great team work, great addition!

You're welcome. :) So far so good; no problems noted. I updated this thread, Nexus and PES's FAQ's with the links/description to Dewshine's Fran/FCOM USIP (thanks again!) Hope it's accurate. Also, not that I ever had a "No pic, no click" but I finally after over a year made some before and after screenies and posted them at Nexus and PES as well. Damn but that hole in the Madness Cuirass is large.

You're welcome. :) Well, if you like it (sure sounds like it) don't forget to rate. The USIP has the stinkiest rate ratio of the Unofficial Patches, currently at 1 rate per 859 downloads. There's my one and only USIP rate beg (already had one for the UOP.) UOMP I'll wait until I release the last one. :D

@HELLBISHOP X: Thanks for the appreciation. :)

Done. I also gave the UoP a rating. I don't rate mods very often (usually because I forget) but I'm more than willing to do so when a mod deserves it. The unofficial patches all most certainly deserve a 10 rating. Thanks again!

I installed the new patch when I saw it awhile ago, but I had not been back to the Isles in awhile, but upon entering I saw this http://www.tesnexus.com/imageshare/images/217344-1216268365.jpg, with the walls showing black through the fog...

Is this something with the patch that I need to reinstall to fix?

Or is it something completely different.

I know there is nothing wrong with the patch, I it something on my end that changed after installing it I think..

Any ideas on what I need to do to fix it?

http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=842328. If you're using an "Everything Visible When Distant" mod it may not like Bloom lighting. There's no added LOD or changes to LOD meshes in the USIP; close-up meshes only (heck LOD meshes can look like crap close up and fine from a distance.)

I've uploaded an OMOD version of USIP v1.3.0 to Nexus and PES. It requires a version of OBMM (1.1.11) just released today that adds a function to set the load order properly for mods such as the USIP and UOP that need to load first. Many thanks to TimeSlip for writing this function and releasing a new OBMM in only six hours after I asked if there was a way to do this!

The latest OBMM can be downloaded from TimeSlip's homepage; just click About -> Visit Website in OBMM. The version at TESNexus is out of date as of this writing.

Edit: Looks like the TESNexus version is now updated. :)

Man, you're just too fast with this stuff. I was going to mention the road record in SI as one of my targets for improvement. I suppose I can still do that but it would have been nice to see that make its way into the USIP at some point. I intended to get the path grids knocked out this week so I could plant new nodes to force generation of a new record. The one in SI now isn't absolutely horrible but has its issues.

I had happily installed this because i know the good it would do, but while walking through the countryside in Shivering Isles i came up to Dreamwalk Camp.

To my amazement all that was there was stairs, part of a platform, rug, and bench. The ground and many peices were gone for the whole cell!

To check i saved and exit, then I deactivated the mod and went back in and all was well, so something needs to be fixed!

Do you know what could have caused this because i reloaded with the patch and it was fine so its is or isn't the mod

Heard of this with cells in Tamriel; for this reason removed all LAND edits so that there's less load on the engine when moving through exteriors. Haven't ever heard of it in Shivering Isles and there are no LAND resources in the USIP and never were. If you ever see this again, just save/quit/exit/launch/load and it should be fine.

I'll check this area out but I doubt I'll find anything wrong.

Edit: Went there, placed a marker, ran top speed several cells away so it was out of the cache, ran back top speed, fine, repeated three times, fine. This is with BOINC running on all cores, my machine acting as a proxy to three others and listening to some choice Bach on WinAmp at the same time. :D Seems to be OK. Just one of those random things the engine likes to do.

Is it just me or are reports of missing land becoming more and more common lately? Now it's beginning to happen in SI? Could this be the result of one of those lingering long-wait things like the A-bomb that nobody has isolated yet because of the randomness of it?

Actually getting far less of them since I trashed all the LAND edits in the UOP. Used to hear of that bridge between Bravil and Leyawiin and Fort Somethingoranother almost weekly.

Version 1.4.0 is released in all three forms (self-installer, OMOD and 7-Zip) and is up at TESNexus and PlanetElderScrolls. As well as re-optimizing 206 of the NIFs, there are a few added bugfixes as well.

Thanks. :) Also I made no changes since the last beta to the ESP (or anything else) so you already have the release version (as do all the beta-testers.)
