@bluedanieru: how did you end up solving that scripts in BSA issue? I fought with that for a while myself and never came up with a good solution.

I dunno if this bug is on your list, but there's a bug that happened in my game with Proventus Avennichi(Whiterun steward) and Saving Whiterun(early game quest). After the Jarl tells me that Proventus will give me my reward, he never actually "gives it to me" and a claymore appeared on his back...which clearly wasnt meant for him. But I never got the claymore back...but Proventus uses it in my game exclusively, it looks very weird on him and I cant fix it.

Lol he basically took my quest reward for himself.

Hi everyone.

I'd like to report a bad mesh with the Ebony Armor.
The head and the body meshes do not connect when you do not wear any kind of helmet/hood. I am not using any mod that changes the head mesh.
Here's a screenshot of what I mean.

Do verify it yourselves, and if it is not just me, maybe you should add it to the list.

I think that's the one that he's talking about. The quest is designed so that the Jarl's sword is held by Proventus until a later time. If you do see THAT event, the Jarl rebuffs the steward for not addressing the problem at hand and refuses the sword. Proventus just keeps it for good after that. Not a bug, to my knowledge.

Unfortunately, need to head off to work now. :smile: Just wanted to start this thread so that at least it's known that this is being worked on, however slowly.
Slowly, you call all them fixes slow?

I think you are doing a great job so far, Bethesda owe you for your time fixing things that in all honesty is their responsibilty.

Kivan, any chance of releasing a beta version of the unofficial patch soon? It feels pretty weird to see the vanilla game get patched more often (5 times!) than the unofficial patch. Sigh... how times have changed since oblivion.I know, I'm getting a little impatient, but those bugfixes look sweet and I'll probably start a new character just to play the fixed game. Keep up the good work :smile:

Then why is everyone making such a fuzz, like "wow look at all the stuff that's already fixed"? If the mod's not out, nothing is fixed. Especially if they rely on users reporting bugs, it would kinda make sense to let everyone use the latest version so that the remaining bugs stick out more.

How open to idea of modifying smitihing/items are you guys? As it stands now the Imperial group of items are rather messed up and inconsistent with regards to thier properties (which tends to screw around with Perks) and availability for forging/tempering. I can go into detail if you'd like, just ask. I'm not entirely sure the bug tracker would work for this issue.

Also, are there any plans to touch Perks at some point, as a number are bugged or have inaccurate descriptions.

I have some Z-fighting (flickering) water at the lake where you start the game. Here's an image showing two spots.

I also want to ask if it's just me seeing this Z-fighting; can someone else confirm it?

Perhaps a rock can be placed above it.

I told myself "I have to get the beta ready this weekend" but now it's 1:30 in the morning on Monday and I have to get up in 5 hours and I haven't even finished. I still have to port in the Debloatifier for one and and a few other things.
However, I just updated the fixes list on the first two posts, so I think you'll agree it was worth it. :) I got a lot done. I'm down to the last two or three other than imports.

So sit tight and it will be out soon enough!

Not only does the random encounter post-"Primises to Keep" spawn Louis all over Skyrim, it doesn't do anything to the original. A new Louis dies, and there he is outside Whiterun, very much alive. There must be a way to make the alias use the real Letrush.

And he appears sunk in the ground because Frost is disabled right out from under him.

EDIT: Whoops, a bit late. And surely there's a way to prevent Skjor's corpse from roaming without disabling an encounter.

If I'm right, he's resurrected because the alias makes him essential again. It's not needed -- he's essential until he dies, and that alias is held in another quest. Now, the alias moving his body around -- that shouldn't happen; aliases don't normally pick dead actors. But it might have something to do with that essential tag making him, in game logic, not really dead.

EDI: Oh, wait. The quest stages move him around. Well, just check to make sure he's not DOA.
