bbd23: Yup, it's in the To Do pile with about a thousand others. :smile: I worked for over two years on Oblivion; I doubt this will take less time. A get about half an hour out of the CK before it either crashes or freaks out and renders nothing but flickering monochrome.

Alkonium: Nice catches and I will fix those as soon as I get home. Thanks. :smile:

shadowborn: If you could post and/or upload that to the https://unofficialskyrimpatch.16bugs.com/projects/7078/bugs/209737 it would be much appreciated. :smile:

bluedanieru: They could afford me... heck, I'd work for survival pittance of enough for three hots and a cot and my share of the rent to send home so the S.O. doesn't have to live in a box.
I didn't fix Fallout though (was going through a rough patch so I didn't even buy it...) The three Oblivion patches also have downloads in the millions.

Arthmoor: I will definitely follow up with that. amgepo's has been out for a while though so it's been given a lot of playtesting. The only thing I would leave out (which is optional anyways) is not having raised corpses turned into ash piles.

Dungeoncrawler: My animation skills range from pathetic to non-existent. Let's hope someone lets me use theirs. :tongue:

I've added a rather notorious glitch to the bug list that's been bugging people for months to the bug tracker: Lydia's incorrect marriage faction rank.

There are a bunch of NPCs in the PotentialMarriageFaction, Lydia among them, but she is the only one whose rank is set at -1, the rest are at 0 (meaning that they are simply in the faction). A rank of -1 means “remove from faction”, so Lydia is effectively removed from this faction as soon as you start the game.

Heh... not out, not 1-day and not brilliant. I beta-tested it for a while. :)
This is just scratching the surface. I won't consider releasing 1.0 until I've fixed at least a dozen quests, about ten quest items and other bugs that no patch should be without....

Derkeethus remains essential because the quest aliases aren't clearing on DarkWaterCrossingDerkeethusRescueQuest. Seems to be a scripting command on his "go home" package to terminate the quest and the aliases, but it doesn't fire, even when following him home. Not needed, anyway -- he'll naturally return home; there's no need to him to run back.

Spuses are supposed to force greet in the Temple of Mara; even have a package for it. Instead they walk off. Not sure why.

"Perfect Touch" excludes essential actors for some reason. No reason it should -- you're allowed to take their weapons with "Misdirection" (which already causes continuity errors with Astrid's Blade of Woe), and if it's an issue of armor... most of the stuff that you get later is unplayable anyway.

CiceroDawnstar should proabably be protected, not essential. He's also scaled at 1.00 as opposed to 0.9 like the other Ciceros. On that note, Cicero has a few combat lines that aren't inherited by CiceroRoad and CiceroDawnstar (some make sense, others don't).

Dark Brotherhood initiates should definately not be essential.

Mjoll the Lioness is essential, even after her quest. Might be intentional, since it's on her actor base.

Is USP compatible with the latest official v1.4 patch, and will the USP team try to keep USP updated and compatible with the official patches?

I think the Steel armor with shoulderpads should be renamed to somthing similar like the banded iron or gilded elven, it should also have increased weight, protection and requiring more ingots to make it.

Why?

Because to me if it adds more pieces to the armor then it should be better protection while being more heavier and requiring more ingots.

But that isn't a game bug, which is what the UOP is all about.
An easy fix if it's something you want. Get your modding hat out. :tongue:

@Raen USP isn't even out yet, is it? And I don't see why they wouldn't keep it compatible. Heck, if Bethesda were smart, they'd simply take the fixes from USP and integrate them into official patches, the fans are essentially doing their work for them! lol.

Hope the USkP team incoporates my http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=4719 (currently a non-standard .esp) and http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=6047 (standard .esp, but not localized) into the USKP. I can help with that too, if you don't mind having one more on the team, (although I do need to get more familiar with the CK).

Are you changing the text inside the books themselves? I fail to see the reason why. Even if the books were in Morrowind or Oblivion they shouldn't be modified for Skyrim. They were hand edited by the people in Skyrim before being published, so they should remain as-is, unmodified.

I'm pretty sure only the typos are getting fixed. Unless there's a serious argument to be made that the typos were intentional.

sometimes when you pick up gold from burial urns it won't play the "take gold" sfx. this qualifies as a bug as well? it only happens when there is only gold and I click R (take all)
