Optimize the engine for vehicles (i.e. covering ground at a high speed) - you added horses, but if you mod them so that they're faster than your character, performance goes out the window (bad framerate, ctd's, on a gaming PC, can't imagine what it'd be like on consoles). Fallout 4's probably going to be using this engine, and having a motorcycle that you can outrun would just be lame.

On top of that, basic horse improvements: configurable AI (either attack on sight, or stay put), 1st person, horseback combat, dialog, and ingredient picking.

the ability to place what I want where I want in any home I buy.

example whiterun, I would so live to add an enchanting station in the loft instead of the little dresser. I would love to have bee able to place an armor stand near the weapon displays... so on and so forth.

A proper PC UI, spellcrafting, the return of Unique landscapes from Oblivion, more dialog options, disposition, obviously more weapons and amour then the limited amount we always get stuck with. Pretty much all the good things from the previous TES games that seem to always get taking out in the forthcoming TES games. Too bad Modders just can't buy the rights to the TES series and make one giant TES game with all the bells and whistles. For visual, I know Godrays will make a return, that always makes the game look stunning, Crysis DoF. I would also like to see that nice art work in Skyrim be more pronounced then hiding behind ugly low resolution textures.

Game fixes that Bethesda probably will not ever fix like they always leave unfinished are.

-quest line bug fixes.
-terrain fixes of the rocks and shrubs floating above the terrain.
-Fix the terrain geometry so my character and horse done walk on invisible terrain or fall through terrain.

Quests! Long quests, short quests as long as they're good quests (I am happy for them to involve new or existing factions and take place in Skyrim or a new/previously seen provinve).

And some vampire specific quests (and maybe some Vampire specific enemies).

Maybe more Thalmor interactions (against them and for them - give my Thalmor sympathizer/secret agent character something to do).

Crazy maybe - another transformation or two (Lich and Werebear perhaps? )

And some more meaningful interactions with giants other than avoid/kill. They're intelligent, do they have dreams? Quests they would like done? I'll do your quests giants. Do you want to forge a Giant nation for yourselves? Sounds exciting, sapient rights for all!

- More followers to choose from with unique playing styles for the Roleplayers.
- The ability to buy to buy more weapon racks, etc... for houses
- The Ability to stock shelves and tables with the items you want.
- More unique encounters while wondering the wilderness (Werewolves, and the like)

I like those a lot, and anything that adds further to customization or improvement of houses is good.

id like to see extended faction questlines, quests that take place in morrowind, underwater ruins, race exlusive quests, more thalmor related involvement and more Khajit lore, and definately would like to know MUCH more about whats going on in the rest of tamriel at this period in time.

Very good indeed. I would like to go hang out with the Argonians in Morrowind too, see how the place has changed (maybe visit Tel Uvirith, see if that awesome mushroom house I heard about is still standing  ).

Creeper. He made my heart happy.

I love the mannequins, weapon racks and bookshelves; those were things I seriously wanted while decorating my house in Morrowind. However, trying to maneuver things in-game is really tricky, and has been since Oblivion. It was actually easier to place items exactly where you wanted them in Morrowind (remember the pillow forts? Good times). We need a way to control how the object rotates while we're holding it, and an easier way to change the elevation of the item and move it closer or father from our bodies at will. Again, Morrowind made this easier; every item you dropped piled at your feet, instead of flying off in random directions knocking things over. Even better, allow us to take things directly from our inventory (like in Morrowind) to do in-world rearranging. Personally, I'd also like a mod that keeps you from accidentally bumping a bowl of fruit across the room. While Morrowind's 'stuff' didn't give you the satisfaction of kicking the Jarl's dinner onto the floor, you also never had to worry about destroying that meticulously prepared dinner spread in your house with one misplaced elbow, or the physics engine randomly freaking out on you.

Levitation and Chameleon spells. I'm mostly kidding, but when the dragon refuses to come down and face me (Me: "Come at me, bro!" Dragon: "Frak you! *flies around like an angry drunk, one-shotting quest-giving NPCs*), and flies too erratically to shoot or fireball, rising to meet him on his own level would be epic. XD I know some people think they're game-breakers, but they were fun, and if Chameleon kept some of the new features that Invisibility now has to keep it from being OP--like NPCs that bump into you can then detect you--it might not be so bad. Levitating would only work outdoors, to get around the instance problem, or something. I dunno. I miss levitating, but I guess Almalexia's edict covers all of Tamriel now.

I cannot begin to describe how much the various followers you have can cause problems. Companions for the Thieves Guild questline would blow my cover by *frakking jumping up and charging screaming into battle*. Not sneaky. Even Farkas knew better, and he clunks around in heavy armor with a claymore (and is a self-described idiot). I'd also like to be able to nudge past them when they block doorways that I need to go through, or tell them to move their @$$es, instead of having to Shout them out of the way. Lastly, when I give my housecarls new armor, they should *leave it on*. I give Lydia lovingly-crafted Legendary Steel Plate or Ebony, and she bloody takes it off as soon as I'm gone and goes back to that crappy steel armor she started with. This would be easily fixed by letting me remove that old armor from her inventory, which I currently can't do.

I wish your spouse would retain more of their original personality after marrying, at least for major faction-related NPCs. I married Vilkas, and he's so... subservient now. I've heard the same complaints from other people who marry a strong-willed character (like Aela). They should retain some of what made them so cool to begin with. On my next play-through, I'll have to find someone who's already of the demure persuasion just so I won't feel like I'm neutering them. ("Vilkas! Get back in the kitchen and make me a sammich!" "Yes, my love!")

Weapons: I missed spears in Oblivion, and am sad that they haven't returned with Skyrim. I would like to see staves 'sheathed' on the character, instead of being pulled from Hammerspace. Sheathing dual weapons properly would be nice, too. And I would like to be able to choose whether my character is right or left handed by default. Shields, bows and two-handed weapons currently don't allow for a left-handed player. Also, being unable to upgrade and properly enchant silver weapons annoys me to no end. They're totally useless after little progression. And 'highly effective against undead' is too vague, especially when the weapon says it only does like 16 damage, or whatever. Even if it's twice as effective against undead, that's not very good. Silver weapons also refuse to go on weapon racks. They just fall unceremoniously to the floor.

I would love to go back to Solstheim, and see the old armor and weapons from the Bloodmoon expansion given appropriate graphical overhauls. I loved my Nordic Mail. I'd also like to see what the Dunmer and Skaal are up to out there.

Your health should regenerate (at least slowly) while as a were, since you can't chug potions. I almost never use Beast Form for this reason. The way the enemies are currently scaled, I can't fight multiples at a time, because my claws just don't damage them quickly enough. This is possibly a level-scaling issue?

Destruction is under-powered at higher levels, which is why I've found myself rarely using it anymore. Perhaps 'channeled' spells could gradually do more DPS depending on your skill level? Nothing obscene, but more than 8 DPS.

Clothing: Capes, please? I know people have been wanting them since at least Morrowind, judging by the mods for clothing packs out there. I like that one set of armor has one, though I wish it billowed a bit. Wouldn't mind putting my characters in a kilt, either (that one set of fur armor sorta works, but I like to wander about town in clothing). Also, one of the things that has annoyed me since Oblivion is that articles of clothing change based on gender. What if Milady likes wearing pants like Sven's, or my male Orc just feels like wearing a dress that day? Either way, calling it a 'belted tunic' when it turns into a dress on girls is irritating.

I wish the hair looked more... natural? It seems like it's become more blocky with things like bangs and fly-aways than it was in Oblivion. And I'd like *all* the eye colors to allow you to choose for either eye to be whited out. Some you can only have a bad left eye, some right, and some don't have the option at all. Allow the player to choose the look of one eye at a time, which would also allow for a character with 2 different eye colors (now I'm just pipe dreaming).

AI followers to be able to keep up with you when you fast-travel with a horse. It seems that not all of them can, and I don't want to risk losing them to a dragon while schlepping in the wilderness if they're non-essential. I've left people behind this way, and have never been able to locate them again.

A DLC where you can help the Forsworn further, maybe join them as a semi-faction like the Orc strongholds. Or maybe try to create a diplomatic cease-fire, or something. I really like the Forsworn as a group, and would love to see you be able to do more than kill them or do that one quest.

Lastly, jewelry. Why only one ring slot? Why can't I craft circlets? And why can't I make a silver emerald ring? Or a silver diamond ring? And making more ornate rings at higher levels of smithing would be really cool. Torcs would be awesome to make or find, as well. Wear them in the necklace slot.

Since the guild questlines are pretty short. I would like them to be expanded on. Once you are guild master there is no reason to even bother returning to your guild. Have to where a new tree of meaningful quests become available once you are the GM after a certain period of time passes. Or actually ADD the fighters guild. I know the companions were to replace them but another faction to work on would be great. Bring guild rivals who come into play once you ar the GM, have someone who was kicked out come back and stir up [censored] or some other faction trying to frame your guild or takeover a town.

I enjoyed the guild quests alot. But the time it took to complete them seemed very very short compared to past games. The radiant quests are nice but I have yet to get one that was not a fast go here and kill this guy type of thing. How about a companions quest addon that makes you go and finsd the bones of the first werewolf to resurrect him in the underforge and seek his help or guidancee for a seemingly impossible task? Or have that mage from that other mage clan who helped you become your mentor and teach you all this new magic only to find out in the end he is out to get you? How about Brynnyolf or Karliah betraying you because they want to be guildmaster? How about going back in time like in fallout3 when you found your dad on tranquility lane but instead it being Cicero and you can find out what make him so wacky?

There is literally a ton of things they could add that could extend the questlines.

I'd like separate character slots to keep the saved games apart. There is no negative side to this and it really should have been in from the start.

During character creation, some OPTIONAL class restrictions so, for example, a Thief can be played without any magic, mages can't wear anything other than cloth, etc. Note - OPTIONAL, and probably something most people would only choose on a 2nd or 3rd character.

Somewhere to live like Battlehorn Castle.

A cottage to live in. (Safe storage)

Include Khajiit NPCs for marriage, and more Khajiit NPCs in general.

Weapon racks that work. (Grrr! Breezehome!)

The ability to take snapshots in-game.

Oh yeah. I'm on Xbox 360, so no cool mods or snapshots for me. :sadvaultboy:

EDIT: Separate Save Slots for multiple characters!!!

Guarding the door of your house with an enchantment so only you can get in would be cool. like the outpost or fort or cave thing as a house option to. Letting the player decide whether to have a lair or a mansion. :)

I'd love to see more possibilities to sneak around. in one of the first dungeons for example you can take the torches so it's getting much darker and the enemies won't see you that fast.
Don't know why they didn't make it work in all the other dungeons. just nerf that sneak-skill and let players take care of getting rooms darker. :P

1. An option and questline to destroy Thieves Guild and the Black-Briar family.
2. An option and questline to become High King.
3. Additional content around what I think are unsolved mysteries - the real deal with Morthal Jarl, strange behavior of certain mages (i.e. conjurers and necromancers hiding in caves, etc).
4. Expanding my role as leader of the factions. Once I am at the top, allow me to build up or tear down the factions. Allow me to truly command them or even change our goals - take us down a new path.
5. Quests revealing more background on the Dragonborn. How did I get the soul of a dragon? What is my purpose once I finish the main quest? give us new threats that can only be resolved by the Dragonborn.
6. Option to not join either side of the Civil War but still have ways to influence the outcome - I mean allow us to either push the Imperials out of Skyrim or destroy Ulfric without officially siding with either.

Ability to join the Thalmor as an Altmer.

NPCs should recognize your race. Thalmor agents speak to my Altmer is if she was a puny, inferior human and not the Master Race specimen she is.

Backpacks
A lot of people like to travel to destinations, and i think it would add to the characters look. Also it could be practical, by increasing your carry weight.

Companions walk beside you
it would be nice if they actually walked within earshot/talking distance instead of 100 yards behind you.

Weapons visible on your character
Having your shield on your back, and not constantly in your hand. having your bow on your back and sword/dagger on your belt. Having all the weapons you use actually appearing on your character as in Red Dead Redemption style. It would add to the look of the character. (Todd Howard said he cut down the armour in the game so it wasnt a strain having different arnour pieces on NPC's. The above would not have to apply to NPC's.) It would be a hell of a lot better than just having weapons magically appear out of thin air.

Horseback combat
People wanted horse combat in Oblivion and its still not in there, i dont know what lame excuse they used for not adding it this time but it is ridiculous that you have to get off your horse to fight. They could make it so the enemy stands still, allowing you to charge at the enemy and swipe (having a lance/spear would improve this but im not pushing it) as it would be in real life, instead of the NPC chasing you constantly. They could trade this off by making your horse more vunerable if you fight upon it. (the increase in verlocity means the impact on your horse would be greater meaning it could be more likely to be crippled/killed.) Or you could just sit there trading blows with the enemy, using your height as an advantage, but again your horse would take more damage (or share damage with you) and be more likely to die)

Companion either rides with you on your horse or has his/her own
I dont use horses in this game (or Oblivion) cause of the lack of horseback combat which is the main reason, but also cause i dont like how your companion has to run behind and fall back.

Stop removing things from the series
Sequels are meant to improve not takes things out. With each game that comes out they are removing more and more.

More things to do in cities
Give people reasons to want to go to cities, more jobs, card games you can play with NPC's in taverns

Interactive jobs
Ok it would be like Fable but have us do something, instead of just sitting there watching an animation.

More hidden weapons/armour/items
return to the days of Morrowind and have hidden stuff, (I found a secret area in skyrim :D and found 4 gold pieces and a petty soul gem ) make it worth our while to look around more, in caves and houses. I found half of the joy was rooting around in peoples bedrooms to find hidden items (sadly thats illegal in my country  )

More generic residents
I know the ES series has alwasy named its residents and had houses for them (well at least since Morrowind that I know of) but i think this adds to the time it takes to create the world. If there were more non named NPC's i think it would mean bigger cities. Ok have it so not every house was able to be entered. I think a bigger city with more people and bigger residential areas would add to the game more and be eaiser to apply.

Slaughter fish with freaking lazer beams
umm yeah :whistling:

Okay Bethesda, so I love the game, it's EPIC. I bought the official guide with the game, and that says that once you've got every skill to 100, you're at about level 80. Level 80 = 80 perks, not enough for the 200+ choices available, which means I have to worry every time I pick a perk in case I can't take another one that I want because I'll run out of perks at level 80 ish. That's NOT epic. So here's my idea. Keep skill improvement the same, but have perks as a separate mechanic once a skill reaches 100. When you do reach 100, you can't earn any more perks from that skill, so my idea is that once you reach 100, every 20 or so points you would have earned in that skill, if it wasn't at 100, you get another perk choice, but limit this to like 15 extra perks that you can attain per skill, or however many are necessary to let you take ALL the perks. That way the level cap will stay at 80 or whatever, but, people will be able to take every perk in the game, and that will most certainly be EPIC.

Please consider my idea,
