Vista 64 bit isnt officially supported, but with all the service packs and updates, its pretty much windows 7. Whether the game cares or not, i cant really say for sure.

It's the integraded GPU "fault" for not running Fallout 4 as intended. All heavy texture calculations running through your Graphics card. !!!

Even so, your CPU is just near the min. req. So, that's a problem, i guess...

Assuming you have a decent cpu and enough RAM, youd probably be able to do ultra at 1080p with the gtx 960. Ive seen benches and user videos proving this as well.

Fallout 4 allways crash by klick on PLAY, game don't start.

CPU is a little weak but may be ok. Definitely need to upgrade the GPU. Might as well throw more RAM in while you are at it to get to 8 gb but it may not be absolutely needed.

Can anyone please help? I've heard around all over the place but i never get a answer.

When I press play in the launcher the game starts fine but wont open up, its stuck on my taskbar. I've tried everything from "windowed"/"borderless" to changing compatibility mode.

Here is my PC specs: (which i for one think should handle this game pretty well.)

on the otherhand the Mac 5K 27" iMac is doing a hell of a job on ultra settings at 2560 x 1440 though I did back the res off a bit from the native 3840 x 2160 that is the max that DXDIAG reports for the setup and the largest i can select inside the game. here is that first page that dxdiag reports... Interesting that the game gives the same mesg as for the iris 5100 and also auto stet the game to low.

It looks good to me Juan, not sure if the 760 will do more than high but it is an easy item to replace with a 970 and then you i am sure could do ultra. my advice try it and see it may do well enough for you that its not an issue... As far as Tig's list, he knows more than I do. That said I tend to disagree with him for GPUs that old. I haven't seen any examples of them being up to the task.

Fallout 4 completely crashes my graphic card (Intel hd 4000) on my laptop so I went looking for an affordable desktop on craigslist. I don't know very much about computers... I just like playing games. I found this computer... I don't understand very much of what is what, but will it play fallout 4? The price is somewhat equivalent to 400 USD so I can maybe swing it if I don't spend any fun money until February -.-

Okay so i just dunno what to do with myself anymore, i've scoured google for the answers, uninstalled, reinstalled, disconnected, reconnected...Somebody help meh! My rig manages to get the Start Menu open but when i go to start a new game it freezes in the middle of the load screen!
