Ok, now i've written all the property correctly.

R.A.M.: 4,00 GB
Processor: 2,66 GHz
Type of systyem: 64 bit
Display resolution: 1680 x 1050
Graphics Card: Intel? Core?2 Quad CPU Q4800

Do i need to modify my cpu, or it's good enough for Skyrim?

The "Intel? Core?2 Quad CPU Q4800" is your processor, your CPU.

We need to know the model number of your graphics card, which might be an integrated Intel graphics chip, if you don't have a dedicated AMD or NVIDIA graphics card. There are a number of different Intel integrated graphics chips and some are better than others.

What is the model number and brand name of your computer?

He won't get any benefit whatsoever, Skyrim uses Havok.

Really, Enossirq, just get rid of that card. PhysX was nothing more than a failed gimmick, no one uses it, and you're wasting a PCI-E X16 slot with it there. If anything, take it out to conserve power consumption and improve the life of your PSU.

Anyways, these are my current specs:

MoBo: MSI P67A-GD65 (B3)
>Intel P67 Northbridge
>SLI Ready
CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K @ 3.3GHz
>Quad Core
Memory: 8Gb DDR3 @ 1333MHz (2X 4Gb)
>Dual Channel
GPU: nVidia GeForce 8800GT
>512Mb GDDR3 VRAM
>2 Way SLI
>DirectX 10
PSU: 700Watt
Audio: Creative SB X-Fi Titanium
>With ALchemy
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium
>64bit

It is highly likely that my GPUs will be exchanged for a single GTX 460 by the time Skyrim comes out, too, so I should have more VRAM and DX 11 support available to me by then.

Failed gimmick that works great in shattered horizons, mirrors edge, metro 2033 ect. The issue with it is, is that nvidia is silly and needs to open source it. Normally i only have it running during benchmarks/shattered horizons, and when Arma 3 comes out

I can run F: NV with 30-40fps with 1680x1050 resolution with everytinh on ultra..
Is it possible to run Skyrim with shadows on low textures and such on med/high and draw distance at max?

At a guess Skyrim will be similar to f3 / nv performance wise. Until we know for sure though a guess is the best we can do.

Been looking at a gaming Laptop to replace my ageing Asus Laptop I am typing on at the moment and my broken desktop. Probably won't get it for a few months but pre-Skyrim release, what do you think about this:

G74SX FHD TZ130V (Not even released here yet, late July, 3 GB GTX560M Video, Sandy Bridge I7 Processor, 8 GB Ram, SSD 1.5GB Harddisk.... wow !)

http://www.lapyking.com.au/onlineshop/asus-g74sx-fhd-tz130v?gclid=CMTY_vux6qkCFcYNHAodhT34rg

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=637440&CatId=3998

If not one of these:

http://www.centrecom.com.au/catalog/product_info.php?sort=2a&products_id=51005

Asus is touting both as Desktop Replacements and promise Full HD 1920X1080 gaming in the latest games but how will they run Skyrim I wonder?

I did see a few vids of the G73 running Crysis 2 in 1920 and seemed to be getting a steady 35fps?

Here are my specs:

Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4Ghz
8600 GT
Vista 32 bit
4 GB Memory

Do I even stand a chance of playing Skyrim?

*I can play F:NV on all high settings with no lag at all.

Thanks!

Added more information to the top

@Thorn2002 I think you may be fine, but I HAVE been wrong before. Go to the first post and read the spoiler, that guy know ALOT more then me, he also has gives you recommend specs. I would also suggest building a pc, or at least buy a alienware if your getting a laptop.http://www.alienware.com/Landings/laptops.aspx

edit: yeah you will be fine, im not a genius in this area but my macbook pro can run fallout 3 just fine in medium/max and it isn't build for gaming. So that should be able to run skyrim on max a better texture pack and mods

Awesome, great work on this - actually you have a pretty decent graphics card.

But can you confirm, is this a laptop or a desktop?

If you know the model number and brand of your computer, I can look up to see exactly which graphics card you have. (there is a difference between the 4830, 4850 and 4870)

The GPU is a bit low end for maxed details.....I would suggest placing it at Medium settings. Depending on how optimized the game is.

My Laptop specs are above recommended requirements for both F:NV and F3 EXCEPT for my GPU... I have the 9400m. I've been running F:NV at Ultra High Graphics but with lower resolution and it works fine. Any idea if I'd be able to do something similar in Skyrim? Because if so, I'm okay with those settings.

Thx, i'm trying to make my best to buy Skyrim for PC and not for X-Box 360!
It's not a laptop, it's a Desktop!

Radeon HD 4850! So it's 4850 i guess!

So do you think it's ok for Skyrim on High-settings?

Are you in Australia of the US? The middle link throws me.

I have the G73 with the Mobility Radeon HD 5870 1GB, though it looks like the G74 pics... odd. The GTX 560m is on par with the Mobility Radeon HD 5870 and the GTX 460m is just a hair behind.

http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX-460M.33612.0.html

I would get the G73, hell there are only 2 left so I would jump on it right now. It's relatively cheap, has a 1080p and Bluray. If you can't run Skyrim on it, the other two are really not significantly better.

Also, if you can't run Skyrim on it, I can't either and I'm sure I can.

I am in Australia :)

The G73 is currently available here in Aus but the problem is the version I keep seeing is still using the GTX460M which while not bad isn't quite as quick as the new G74 which uses the GTX560M as standard, apart from that I don't think there is too much different between the 2 models, both have the same CPU and same RAM and the same amount - 8GB upgradable to 16. The G74 won't be available here in Aus for a couple of weeks and even then I am pretty sure they will sell out fast!

If you have the G73 can you run the latest games in 1920X1080 or does it struggle? What about Crysis out of curiousity?

Thanks :)

Am I the only one who thinks people are being incredibly over-optimistic here? My PC is a C2D E6600 @ 2.4 ghz with 2gb RAM and a 4850. It scraqes minimum settings for every game released this year which generally translates as "Yeah it'll run, it'll look worse than Duke Nukem 3D and run at 10fps but it'll run" I'd expect you'd need at least a 3ghz quad core with 4gb and a 560gtx to match the 360 version.
