I tanked ICC10 for the first time last night with a friend of mine as the other tank, he's the guy who's been teaching me how to tank and helping me out, and doing that instance with him and 8 other great people was awesome. I got that tanking mace from Lady Deathwhisper I think, I can't remember who dropped it. We got to the Blood Queen and then we couldn't do it, someone kept [censored] it up unfortunately, but up untill that point it was a great run, and I really enjoyed it. I can't wait for the raid to unlock so I can do it again :)

What are some good melee dps trinkets to look out for? The reason why I ask is I got a Pyrite Infuser on DK and my dps shot up 1000-1500 more. I was pulling about 3k-3.5k before and now its up to 4.5k-5k. I don't raid on them really except weeklys for badges.

Just paid for a time card, I'm set for a couple of months.

Got my toon to 24 today. http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Windrunner&cn=Suffca

Tried Shadowfang Keep by myself at 23, made it to the courtyard and gave up.

Made it to level 26 today, but I'm not really sure on where to go. I mean lakeshire is still around my level I guess but I've done most of the quests there. Anyone have any idea on where I should go?
Just ran Gnomeregan today also.

Try Darkshire in Duskwood. Lots of easy 'go there, kill 10 of those, come back, go somewhere else kill 10 more of something else' quests. Should take you up a few more levels.

Yeah Duskwood is good. It's been so long since I levelled an alliance I can't really remember, I levelled my current main char as a horde and then transferred to alliance. I just kind of know where to go and when as I've done it so many times, but I can't really think of it off the top of my head. It doesn't help that from level 25 and up I levelled my warrior almost only in instances, and then I did most quests in Northrend and some in Outland.

EDIT: By the way, I did ICC10 last night and got a neck item from Marrowgar and a cloak from...someone :P I also got boots, a 2h weapon, a ring and a trinket for off spec. I'm planning on getting pvp gear soon, so those dps items will come in handy :D

So I was just wondering if anyone who isn't playing would like an opportunity to get started? I have some RAF tickets kicking around and I know the game fairly well so I could show you the ropes as we level like super easy.

RAF= 3 times the normal experience and grant able levels to the original account.

(If this is against any rules please spare my soul, I'm genuinely interested in introducing someone to the game.)

lol shhh its a secret rofl.

Plus leveling a tank is only so fun if I can't have a personal healer. JK. But honestly, offer is still open.

I know how to tank, dps and heal so I'm capable of teaching anyone who wants to join on how to play. I also have experience with all classes, some more than others, and some barely. But I can give you advice and help. Really, I think we could become good friends and quest all through the game on this!

Now, onto something ingame. I was doing some quest on my warrior (actually I think I left him still there working on it) in Stonetalon, he's a tauren prot warrior level 23, and I have to go kill a goblin, right? Well, it turns out that he's up on this dam, and the whole thing is like a mess of toothpick bridges and 4x4 platforms, and the first time I run on I accidentally overturned and ran off the edge, where I promptly slid then smooshed literally 3 feet away from the water...

anyone else have quests/zones that are just terrible when it comes to leveling?

I'm having a lot of fun leveling my pally and I'm around 3 or 4 bars away from 29. I cleaned out Darkshire, where's another good place I should go to next?

Suffca, http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/basics/questlevels.html might help you decide on areas to level in. If you're on a PvP realm and want to avoid getting ganked every 5 minutes try Desolace. Otherwise go for Stranglethorn Vale or Arathi Highlands.

At your level I might even do a few dungeons to ding 29 so the quests wherever you decide to go won't be too difficult. But then you're a pally so you shouldn't have too many problems :P

Also what's the best profession that makes decent money?
Not sure if I need one at level 28 or not.

My knowledge may be a bit rusty. But, I'm pretty sure prices on auction houses are different for each server. On my server I got plenty of money off of skinning.

If you were level 6 I'd recommend mining, skinning or herbalism (if it's your first toon, that is) but now you're level 28 you'd have to go over all the lower zones again to grind your skills. If you want to delay levelling for a bit to level your gathering skills it will be worth it in the end as you'll gain a ton of gold.
