Well, based on that message I assume you've bought a battle net authenticator. As in a little keyring with a screen and a button. Push the button, get a code, enter code and you're in. Same system you use to acess an online bank service. If you haven't bought one of those then I'm not sure how to help.

Maybe your account got compromised? Blizzard doesn't just ban people for nothing. Sounds like maybe someone got your account info and added an authenticator to it? I would contact Blizzard and sort it out ASAP.

I think my account was compromised. I was playing, it logged me out and then it started asking me for an authentication key. I'll have to phone Blizzard customer support tomorrow.

Hopefully they can fix it.

Yeah, I briefly glanced over your gear (Didn't catch stats or anything though) and it looked good for your level. Before you hit level 80 gear isn't really that important.

Anyone else think we should, at a bare minimum, be able to pick locks across servers when it comes to instances and raids? They could at least put a timer on the lockboxes that drop (like when BoP items drop, usually) for the person to get it opened by someone in the group.

I never understood why there wasn't a bash lock ability. Give it to warriors and have one of the items inside the chest get damaged like in NWN. How often do you run across a rogue in random dungeons? Especially if you use the lfd tool for heroics.
