My lock is almost 77. So. Close. I haven't even played my warrior in like 2 weeks. Man, so many frost badges missed out on. But honestly I don't even care..this lock is fun as hell, I can't wait to gear him up. TBH, there's a chance it'll become my new main. I just love Affliction and the way it works, and I'm honestly pretty good at it. I'm always #1 dps in groups even if the other members have heirlooms also. ^_^ And playing @1500 ms lat is pretty sad when I'm #1 in DPS on anything haha.

Just got my rogue to 58, was in Silithis at 56 and a mage just happened to I guess do a /who 55-whatever and saw me and ran me and 3 others through Stratholme. I dinged 58 and went to Hellfre, should be easy now. Gave him a 50g tip cause 50-58 is the WORST level range ever.

I always found 40-50 to be the worst. I think 50-58 is pretty easy because you can just run AV over and over, and if you win, you get almost a level every win.

I went from 51-54 in AV in one night(fast queues and we were on a roll with our strategy) but other times the queue for AV is horrendous.

Yeah I no lie went from 51 to 58 in about 4 hours haha. We won like, 5 in a row and I just kept questing in between ques. It was pretty OP.
Now though, I tried AV last night on my 76 lock, yeahhhh. Not the same XP gain. I got like, 1/4th of a bar of XP haha.

Tanaris, for sure. That'll get you to about 45/46. After that, head to the hinterlands till 50. Then Ungoro Crater. And at 55, head to WPL/EPL. Do that to 58, or if you don't have BC, stay till 60.

I can't really get any quests from Gadgetzan, they're all greyed out, the few that I could get are all red in my quest log. Maybe it's because I'm 39, I just keep thinking I'm 40 because I'm like 1000xp off.

Beta update from the one and only, the beloved, the magnificent, the sixiest and most desireable man alive: Urge!

So yeah, Worgen are kinda broken, not gameplay wise, but graphically. The issues with the new guild UI seem to have been adressed somewhat, but I haven't looked into it that much, I just briefly logged on to grab those pictures. Reforging is in but I haven't tested it, I probably will soon.

In other Cataclysm news, here's some more stuff that I've found around the web, you can probably find this yourself, but I figure why not post it to make up for my lack of pictures due to being in another country without my laptop First though, Im going to adress the Dark Phoenix.

As far as I know, this is something everyone can just get by being in a guild for a while, which is something players should be doing anyway (despite my main currently being guildless, but I hardly play live anymore and likely won't for a while). The risk vs. reward concept here is just completely thrown out the window, you can get this mount by playing normally as you would no matter if you're in a guild or not, but by simply being a member of a guild for some time, you will eventually get this. That's stupid, I'm not going to lie and say that I wouldn't take this mount if I got it easily, I would, but that's not how it should be. This mount rivals other mounts in cool-factor, and those mounts can be really damn hard to get. This mount requires you to put in absolutely no effort beyond playing as you normally would, and that's just stupid. I could be wrong, and as always this is subject to change, but that was the last thing I heard about it, and I didn't like it.

Alliance players can apparently get a lion mount as a guild reward, which is awesome. The risk vs. reward idea works for this mount, because while a Lion mount is special, it's not an exact replica of one of the most [censored] rare and difficult to get mounts in the entire game!. I haven't found a picture of the Lion mount and I don't know if it's even in the game, but I will as soon as I can find it. That particular mount idea I really like, and I've been wanting a lion mount for a long time.

Something I just recently discovered while logging in is that there are new loading screens, and they are awesome! Taking screenshots of them didn't work, so these are from MMO-champion.

What I like most about these is that they take the lore into consideration. WoW has changed a lot over the years, and the loading screens now reflect that, which is something I fully support.

lol@no worgen ears. I think the facial hair looks badass though. If I make a worgen, I'll go for that look.
The guild mount thing..eh..I already have a few 310% speed mounts so I probably wont use it. I don't really think that looks cool at all honestly, and Ashes of Alar looks so much better.
The Northrend loading screen looks pretty badass now.

They have also introduced being able to buy 310% mount speed. 5,000 gold.
Of coarse, if you already have a 310% mount right now, you'll get it for free. Huzzah. I can get a 310% speed mount on my lock the day I ding 80 if I wanted too, via 10 man Ulduar hard modes. So looks like that's 10,000 gold I just saved.

I also think Thralls new model looks pretty awesome. His old model depicted him as a Warrior of sorts, wearing plate armor and dual wielding what looked like maces.
Thrall isn't a Warrior, he's a Shaman. I think the new model fits him perfectly.

How ever....Garrosh is the new War Chief and even though his model seems a little "Me big dumb Orc rarw" his picture in the loading screen is bad ass.


To be honest, if they made his model look a bit more like the load screen it would be 1000x better. Right now his arms are fat as hell for some reason he has massive humped shoulder and his belt/girdle thing is pulled up around his armpits like a 70 year old.

But Thrall will always be the Warchief, not just sentimentally for many players, but for a lot of the Horde in lore. As I understand it, not even all Orcs will accept Garrosh as their leader. Leaders like Vol'jin will tolerate him at the request of Thrall, but that's because they respect Thrall, not Garrosh. I'm not that crazy about Thrall's new model either, he looks too...defeated.

I like the new load screens, except the one for Kalimdor. The troll looks awesome, but the Draenei doesn't look like a Draenei at all, and I'm not really blown away with the Orc and Tauren.

I'm with ya about the mount being too easy to get. A lot of things are becoming too easy, but I feel like I'm the only one who feels that way because it seems like everyone else is going bat [censored] over the changes and can't say enough great things about them.

You can see them in Dragonblight. Basically, a shadow priest that can heal and do damage. That's just what the games needs IMO, a new healer class, and a new ranged magical class.
The looks are like..imagine a shadow priest, but with ghostly looking ravens swirling around them. They have attacks and heals based on the Ravens, like Raven Heal and Raven Shock, like the ravens swoop down on the enemies like a swarm. It's really cool looking.
