Just resubbed and going to start a goblin frost mage.
If anyone wants to play and level together, I'm going to play on Stormscale. (PvP)

I might try, what hours you normally on?

On the weekends usually from 11 am PST to whenever.
Weekdays, 1 pm to whenever.
I've got a lot of time now since I get out earlier from school.
Currently level 8 atm and I'm loving the goblin starting zone so far.
Hit the road!

Heh, those car quests were some of my favorites just for running over all the citizens of Kezan. Almost as good as http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ux269B9ow94.

Just out of curiosity, is anyone else upset with how the female worgen don't look feral enough?

I think the final quest for the goblin starting zone is bugged or something. I talk to Thrall and he tells me to drop off that package. Then I'm supposed to get on the boat and leave right? But there's nobody else to talk to. I'll try again right now.

Also if you could had him to the list, http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/stormscale/galdur/simple

Yea, I went to purely enhancement spec. I do 16-18K DPS on tank and spank fights and 12-14k sustained DPS with movement and add switching. I guess I would rather carry people as DPS then as heals. I will prolly go back to healing come the next tier and people smarten up.

I don't want to carry anyone at all, if they can't handle the game at the current difficulty (Keep in mind that vanilla was like this, and TBC heroics were even harder) then that's really not my problem, and it shouldn't deprive me of a good experience. it does though, because people are unwilling to learn or come to terms with the fact that Wrath is finally over.

Right now pvp is inbalance , unless you are warrior ,rogue , mage or druid you ain't going to do much in it unless you have healers with you.

Which is what you should have. Random BG's are like random instances, painfull. In five years of playing, I've seen some pretty stupid people, people that make you lose faith in humanity. And that's why fixed teams in BG's and guild groups in instances are the right way to play.

In other news: I got hacked today. But it's actually a fairly funny story...kind of. You see, I logged on today and noticed that all my alliance characters (Hordes were untouched) were suddenly broke, you tend to notice when about 30k gold goes missing overnight, so I sent a ticket immedately. While waiting I bought an authenticator, which i should've done ages ago but kept putting off as I was planning to get an iPhone, but my stupidity has worn off and now it's on the way.

But anyway, on to the good part. I logged off and vented my anger with Mount & Blade and the rest of the whiskey bottle sitting next to me, and when I got back I had mail. A mail containing all my money, plus some random loot I had sold earlier on my druid, which means *drumroll*...

...I actually made money from getting hacked! :D svck it hacker, your efforts benefited me!

I've since changed my password and hopefully the Authenticator gets here quickly, last time I ordered something from the US it spent 3 weeks in customs, i guess t-shirts are popular for smuggling drugs or explosives...Allthough I'm thinking it'll be sent from a european loacation so I might get it sooner, we'll see.

Whew. I wish I had that much time, I might still start a char on the server sometime, I've been looking for a good server to play Horde on.

The thing I don't like about them is the shoulder roll animation they do on mounts every two seconds. I rolled a druid but noticed it on some of the starter quests where you have to ride a horse.

I don't care from the constant sniffing noise Worgen make...I don't even notice the shoulder thing.

Nah you're just a low level mage which means your back is prime real estate for their dagger.

Also, applied for a good raiding guild on my server, did a heroic with them, they liked what they saw. I got an invite.

There is a mod that mutes the Worgen Sniffing. Check out curse for it. Congrats on the guild invite. I don't know about rogues. Sometimes mine seems to absolutely wreck a bg until he runs into a hunter or frost mage that liberally uses Frost Nova. 1400 Ambush crits in the mid 40's followed by an 4 pt. Eviscerate means almost instant death for anyone at those levels.

Every class svcks, every class is awesome. it depends on who's playing it mostly. Sure, there's always imbalance, but I've never met an opposing player that I couldn't have lit on fire had I been quicker, more carefull or more aggressive. Whenever a Horde player kills me, I consider it my own fault for not killing him first.

If a rogue wants to stab me in the back, I use ice block, blink, frost nova or any other thing that can get me out of stun, then I move away, sheep him and start hurling fire at him untill all that's left is a corpse with a terrified look on it's face :)

Rogues are a lot of fun as well though, I have a level 49 Worgen rogue and a 25 Feral Night Elf druid at the moment, I'm leaning towards the druid right now as I just have way more utility. I can sign as tank for instances, but still do great damage if I need to, or turn into a bear an be the off-tank or replacement tank if necessary, seeing as ferals don't actually have any dedicated tank gear like Warriors or Paladins would, dps and tanking goes hand in hand very nicely. A shame that bear tanking is terrible at lower levels, I don't get swipe untill level 36 and Swipe itself has been nerfed badly, but at least my cat form is still working well.

I'm thinking about uninstalling WoW for good. I've been playing it on and off for a few years now and I think I'm getting bored with the repetitiveness of it. Also, waiting 45 minutes as DPS for a dungeon only for the party to disband at the first wipe or spending an hour in the dungeon wiping before people just give up and leave feels like too little reward for too much inconvenience. Honestly, I have more fun PvP-ing in low level BGs than I do doing anything on my lvl 85 character.

Also I was disappointed with the new races. Worgen animations are beyond goofy, and the male Goblins giant clown feet spoil the look for me. I wonder how long Blizzard can milk this particular franchise before it goes into natural decline.

Bah humbug!

A lesson for you all: Need every item or you'll have your humanity questioned.

I was about 4/5 of the way through Stonecore Heroic with a random group. After a pair of gauntlets dropped from the dragon boss I saw they were worse than what I had, so I just greeded them. The tank quickly proclaimed "Wtf pally you dont need on a better item than you have you must be a bot". I was thus kicked by him and his 2 other guildmates. (One of which was managing a measly 3.2K DPS). The gloves in question would have dropped my Crit Rating by 150 with no real bonus.

So kids, remember, need every item, even if its worse than what you currently have, otherwise you'll be called a piece of software and kicked from your heroic dungeon.

Never had that problem, and I need very seldom. I feel guilty needing on an item unless I desperately need it, or if it's a mount (etc.) which everyone else is needing on.

Wow...I'm not sure how to respond to that, i mean...wow. I honestly didn't know people were that stupid. If it's any comfort, 3.2K dps was pathetic in Wrath and is just disgraceful with the kind of gear we have now, so I'd say your were better off without them.

I would of raged  I can seriously auto attack and do more then 3.2k. Also yea better off not wasting time and repair bills with them.

Also with the nerf to heroics I am glad to say I got my "Cataclysm Dungeon Hero" achievement before they change them.

More nerfs? They weren't that hard to begin with, they just required a functional brain. Hell, CC still isn't necessary in some of them, Lost City is a joke and can be facerolled by pretty much anyone.

Ah well, at least they're better than the "heroic" instances in Wrath, but not as diabolical as the ones in TBC, I guess Cata has found a good middle ground over all.

3k dps in 85 heroics is low. No way to sugar coat that. Heck, even maintaining CC on 2-3 adds and a rotation that's like 8 spells I can do 7k on adds. Luckily it's higher on bosses (~10-11k) because I don't have to do too much CC. Maybe a felguard's Axe Toss here or there.

I noticed that you guys have a WoW thread. :D I play WoW. After reading the thread, I figured I'd post my UI as well (as others have):

I also make raid boss kill videos for my guild, here are some:

Low is an undertatement. 3K was terrible in Wrath, and considering that characters are several times more powerfull at 85 than they were at 80 3K dps is just ridiculous. I mean, my fireballs hit for 10k on average...hit, not crit, hit. And my gear isn't that great, it's mostly heroic blue quality because I haven't been playing much lately.

That reminds me, I should update Recount and get a look at my mages dps.

3k DPS is really low. I do about 5k auto attacking the target dummy in Org. 0.o
