1-60 Leveling is a little fast right now IMO. I don't know if it will give new people enough time to know their class. I was on my rogue that has 20% xp boost in BoA's. I did one BG where I was around 45% at that level. By the time the BG was over (Strand of the Ancients) I leveled up and gained enough xp to almost level again (@ 87%).
While I agree that the 1-60 levelling is a tad fast (The best quest content by far is over so quickly, while Outland and Northrend drags on) I don't think it's a problem that way. Learning a class is not complicated, especially not with the new tooltips for spells and skills that tell you exactly what they do, and even suggest when it's best to use them in many cases, if a player isn't managing to play his class at least somewhat well at 60, it's his/her fault, not the games. I'm not expecting new players to know everything, I don't expect them to know what stats to gem, enchant or reforge for, I don't expect them to know the perfect rotation. I do expect them to do what the game teaches them to do though, and the teaching in WoW has never been better.
With a little reading on the side to learn the optimal way to play, anyone can learn a class and play it well, it's not difficult, it just requires a little effort on the players side.
Well, thanks to the virus I got onto my system, my WoW account was hacked. I lost 15K gold, another 2K worth of stuff to be used for levelling engineering, and everything of slight value in my bank account.
Thank you whoever you are you tosser/
Submit a ticket or call customer service and request a restoration. I got hacked about two weeks ago or so and lost about 30k gold total. Two hours later I had it all back and more (Some loot I had sold got restored, so net gain for me). Contact Blizzard right away, you'll probably get all your stuff back.
