The capital cities, except Ironforge of course, are completely deserted.

Kind of creepy. :P

I tried to do the Echo Isles event but Vol'jin bugged out on the group before us in the final quest. So my character is stuck waiting on him to show up at the staging area. I got to do Gnomeregan one and it was ok. Kind of a letdown if this is all they are going to do for a lead in.

...
Must resist. Must not resub.

I may have to sometime this month.

It'd have re-subbed already but Blizzard [censored] slapped my account again.

Apparently my bank, without my permission, denied the WoW subscription charge even though it still shows up at -$15 on my account and I haven't been reimbursed. So now Blizzard says I owe them $15 and it doesn't let me pay through the normal subscription menu, I'd have to send them a check or something.

There'll be more than just a couple piddley quests. They haven't even announced a released date, but we'll probably have at least a couple more months to see all the major changes happen. We'll probably be helping Worgen and goblins at some point too (especially since Azshara will be completely reshaped), maybe have the chance to fight over places like Auberdine and Camp Tara, or do something around the Plaguelands.

I didn't get to experience the other world events, but since the Old World is changing so drastically, I seriously doubt they'll just have us gather volunteers for three months. Planning a series of events would make a lot more sense, all leading up to something as epic as a zombie invasion shortly before the actual cataclysm happens.

Yeah I'm 100% sure this wont be it, this is more like the prequel to the big Cata event before release. Just step 1. No one knows what it is, but I really can't imagine Blizzard just doing this and that's it.
Itll more than likely happen with the patch that comes before Cata. Before every expansion there is a huge patch that changes a LOT in the game before an expansion comes out. New spells are introduced, new talents, glyphs, etc. Then the expansion comes out a few weeks later. The "big" event will probably happen then.

Did and ICC 10 pug today, picked up some loot the bow from Deathwhisper and the axe from Marrowgar. I did Assassination DPS the entire time was doing 7k on Marrowgar and Saurfang. I have been trying combat though since I got this axe. Don't know which spec to stay with.

Oh yea, never thought it would happen but my Rogue alt has surpassed my Warlock Main in Gearscore.

A recent Q&A confirms my theory that the current world events happening on live servers regarding Echo Isles and Gnomer aren't the only things that will lead up to Cataclysm. Direct quote:
Q. Are Operation: Gnomeregan and Zalazane's Fall the only events that lead into the Cataclysm?
A. Not at all. It's only a taste of what's to come.

There is also some tier 11 concept art on Mmochampion.com..it looks pretty sick. Only Hunter and Warrior up so far though.

Perfect, my two main characters then :P

EDIT: Not really sure about the Hunter set (We always get shafted, tier 10 was just embarrasing) but the Warrior set looks [censored] awesome!

The worst looking Tier 10 armor set by far, it was a pretty sad day.

Kind of like the skull with all the long teeth though, for the hunter. Warrior does look pretty bad ass.

Yeah I like the skull, reminds me of that old Onyxia helmet actually, which I always liked. it looked silly on my head, but the model itself was cool :P So yeah I like that, the shoulders not so much, they seemed to be built of bubbles, I'm not sure how I feel about that. Extending the dragon motif would be better I think, having the shoulders be in the shape of wings almost would be an improvement in my mind.

The warrior set basically looks like Deathwing's human form, which is awesome.

Well that's a relief. I want an epic pre-cata event. Finally got to do the Zalazanes Fall quest and that chain is the better of the two. As for T11 I'm not too worried for my warlock main. They always seem to get the choice sets. I think I still have a http://www.wowhead.com/itemset=-86#. set in my bank. Putress armor was the best in Wrath imo.

Seems to me that Shamans have always gotten the coolest sets, Warlock sets have been pretty decent across the board as well.

Paladins have had a mixed bag as well I think, alot of the 70 sets made us look like Power Rangers but there have been a few sets that have looked pretty cool, I don't really like the Alliance Pally T9 though, it doesn't suit the class at all imo.

It looks stupid. I couldn't figure out what it was when I first saw it either, but it looks like he tied coconuts to his shoulders.

I think my favorite is probably Tier 10 Warlock, that mask/hood looks wicked (sounded like the perfect word :P).

I think "racist" would be my first pick of words when describing Warlock tier 10 :P but yeah I think lock tiers have always been really cool. I loved lock tier 8 and Warlock tier 5/6 were probably two of the coolest sets in the game.

World of Warcraft doesn't have "bad graphics". It has cartoonish style graphics. But they are quite good.
Especially some of the screenshots from the Cataclysm beta, and all the improvements they are doing to the game world. Pretty much a complete overhaul on the game world as far as graphics goes, and it shows immensely. Some rigs that can run WoW right now wont be able too once Cata hits.

Paladin and Death Knight T9 reminded me of Transformers. I even saw a person with a macro saying "Autobots Roll Out!" everytime they mounted up.

T9 was the worst...for every class and faction.

So I am pretty torn between Combat spec with Quel'Delar and Bone Wardens Splitter or Assassination with Blood Weeper and Orcish Death Blade.

Quel'Delar, not Quel'Serrar. Quel'Delar comes from the quest chain when you get a "Battered Hilt" Only been out....ooo since they released the ICC 5 mans.
