Unparalleled Immersion

After playing Fallout 4 for a many number of months, I found myself immersed in the world more so than any other Fallout game. I cared about the story and felt emotion for the character I had created.

How did everyone else find the immersive experience in Fallout 4? What parts of the game svcked you in most and allowed you to get lost in the commonwealth?

I think I got "lost" in Skyrim a bit more, most likely due to the higher number of non-hostile NPCs.

I take story as a whole. I pay attention to the smaller tales around Commonwealth like those distress signals. I felt sad when I found them.

I also take the faction stories with open mind and from different kind of perspectives. I could feel the BS spreading across them and how ironic the whole thing is.

The environment svcks me right in but I really can't say I feel anything for my boring ass character or any of the other "conversation" props lol

Same, the visuals and map design are incredibly immersive in F4.

I pity those who let their hang-ups over other aspects of the game prevent them from enjoying exploration. Though I will say the game is too easy. Exploration is a lot more fun when you aren't overpowered. Survival overhaul should fix that.
