Unplayable after latest patch

Steam auto-forced the latest patch (at least I guess it is the latest - haven't found a way to tell which version NV is now) and it has gotten unplayable.

Before the patch FPS where fine. Now, there are extreme lags (e.g. the whole sewer system or the fiends territory). FPS take a dive as soon as the mouse is moved, resulting in a stuttering experience.

Loading times increased significantly now.

Worse: The game crashes randomly after 5-15 minutes regardles of location or action. That is soooo annoying!

Weapons tend to hang now and the game ignores the key presses (e.g. hunting shotgun). Some frenzied key pressing remedies this situation (thank god I was only encountering rats...).

Rex gets stuck indoors very often (Vault 3). Leaving an area seems to solve it, until he gets stuck again (maybe that's just a quirk of his deteriorating brain...).

I hope Bethesda is not living under a rock and we will see a timely solution to this problem. NW as it is now, is not entertaining anymore.

Cheers

They are living under the rock.

You cannot install the game without internet.
This is for me already point blank illegal because on the cd case it is not mentioned
anywhere that it needs internet and uses steam.

once the cd finished install and you quite steam (having closed internet connection before)
you cannot start it as well while being offline.

you need to go online but even when you decide not to auto - update the game Steam
forces the update and thus renders FNW with the 1.2 patch useless

since I cannot start a new or load a saved game at all.

IT CTD ALWAYS.

Great job - I call that professional Software developers.

I hope they have the same success as Codemasters with the way how they messed up Operation Flashpoint.
