Unranked vs Ranked

I've played both and as far as I know both are giving XP points, leveling up on suit nodes, and weapon nodes...

So then what is the difference?

If you play in an unranked server, the points you have gained , or K/D wont count toward your overall stat. If you play in a ranked server , it will.

Oh ok, so that why I don't see me leveling up on the weapons I use "kills, headshots, etc..."

can you gain armor assesments in unranked or no
