Well cause of Microsoft... Hey its not that bad... I would be happy if it was on both consoles or just PS3.... I have 360, PS3, and PC.. So it won't effect me...

I admit, I don't know much of anything about the mechanics of game-making, but I found this statement quite funny.

They way buildings are constructed (at least in past BGS games) is much different than in FC2. The interior needs to be linked to the exterior door, and the interior needs to be built section by section. Much too complex for consoles. From what I've heard, the CK will be much like the CS and GECK, so getting it on the console versions of the game isn't really possible.

Getting mods made on the PC to the Xbox or PS3 is a different story.

I should mention that in Oblivion, Fallout, and soon Skyrim, it's not as easy as creating a new map and playing it, like it is in UT3 and FC2. The whole outdoors in the aforementioned games is one huge worldspace that you can't just plug the map into.

They are actually trying to get mods for Ps3 and 360. Todd said it himself, they are speaking with Sony and Microsoft about it, since the only real issue is licensing and what-not. He did say, however, that they don't see it happening by initial release, but perhaps later on they will add it. Stop asking this, there is a new thread every day. It's licensing issues, but now we heard they are trying. That's all we can ask for.
