Unsupported Video Card Detected

Post » Sun Aug 28, 2011 9:00 am

Hi,

Yes, I got the dreaded "unsupported video card detected" etc message, though I do meet the minimum specs. However, for some reason, I am unable to click the 'OK' button (or the 'Cancel button'). My mouse cursor disappears behind the message box, but refuses to 'land' on it. Very frustrating! Yes, I've tried changing screen resolutions (from my native 1920 x 1080), but that doesn't help. Got any ideas as to how I can get to the OK button. Yes, I am using the latest nVidia video drivers.

Here are my specs:

XP Home+Vista Ultimate (32-bit) \ Intel E6750 @ 3.47 \ Abit IP-35 Pro \ Antec 900 Ultimate Gamer \ Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro \ 4gb Corsair Twin2X2048 XMS Xtreme Performance (800mhz) \ XFX 8800GTS 320mb \ Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Gamer \ Samsung SpinPoint 2TB \ Samsung Writemaster SH-S223Q \ Corsair CMPSUHX 620w PSU \ 24" Acer X243H \ Netgear DG834 v4

Thanks,
DANNY

Just navigate your now-invisible cursor to where the OK button is, and click it.
The easiest way to do so would be to enter the error from the bottom.

Hi,

Tried that (and pressing ENTER), but no luck - just cancels the operation. Snookered! Any more ideas for me/

Thanks,
DANNY
