Upcoming Demo Video

It'll definitely be better without the crowd's cries of "KILL IT!" and "WATER!"

Don't forget "[censored]!"
I had a feeling that "Graqe"
would be censored...

Luckily this one will not have crowd noise.Crowd mentality scares me.If I were present I would have shouted things like, "Pick da flower".The crowd would have murdered me I reckon.

Its great that we just get to see a structured video, commentated by Todd again.

Just coax a dragon into following you into the village.

I can't wait to find out about dragons and dragon shouts. I've still not quite got the hang of them.

Ah, never mind. This is as hopeless as a rabbit trying to fight a bear and survive.

I can understand that there have been delays.
And I can understand peoples frustration.

From our point of view if things aren't released when they are said to be we get doubts about the rest of the game.

From theirs, by announcing something; even if natural things delay it ( I mean, stuff happens and we all know it.) they begin to lose community trust. (at least to some degree)

We need mutual trust.
Us: That the video IS on the way.
Them: That they DO have our support and thanks for such a wonderful project.

We have all waited a year so far. A week for a video; and two months for the game is do-able.
We can all handle a wait for this.
Just... Chill.

don't see what all the fuss is about this, haven't we already seen the content on the dodgy quakecon video? Couldn't care less if it's in higher definition, the one i saw looked pretty good considering. I'd like to see the puzzle door in the section that was missing, but that's it unless there's new stuff...which i don't believe there is.

Lol, I'm gonna study a 500 pages book on joint-stock companies and read the law in the meanwhile

Eating chips and coke is unhealthy!

I hope the demo video will have high game sound so we can still easily hear the beautiful Jeremy Soule music!

Just coax a dragon into following you into the village.

If its anything like oblivion summons the just summon your own dragon and attack a guard....
It should protect you
And by protect you i mean destroy the whole village...

Basking in the glory of Skyrim isn't arguing with each other about when a video is going to come out. It seems more insulting than anything. Why not waste time actually talking about the game, instead of talking about a video of which release date is unknown? These threads are a waste of space. No one will gain any knowledge of this, and probably no satisfaction. It's like a bunch of 6 year olds arguing in a sandbox.

So I guess every other topic on this forum is different? That they're all just banks of new knowledge where people get together to civilly enojy things with eachother?

At least those threads don't expand into 4 pointless ones. My whole point was to rationalize the situation, and just stop arguing about the release date of a blessed video. I can tell that no one wants to do that, as this thing is still going, and is more off-topic than a gaming nerd at a sporting event. The video will be released. We DON'T know when. Why keep talking about it, when someone will release an official thread on it?

Yeah the problem is that, if you've been following this forum closely over the last year, almost all the threads that you see today are a copy/paste of the 50 identical before them. Of course if you just got here, everything seems new, but for those of us who've seen 30 threads about spears, dlc, werewolf, levelscaling, graphic, you name it, and answered 30 polls about which console you're buying skyrim for, etc., it is becoming pointless.

I guess that's the reason we are so eager to get something new. Pretty depressing to know that we weren't "allowed" to see the quakecon footage and the tidbits we got to see from PAX. I don't want to think about the state of this forum if no one got to see those "illegal videos".

I'm very into skyrim, I think the game looks awesome and I'm sure it'll meet all of my expectations, but I despise almost everything surrounding it (their "silence" marketing campaign based mostly on Oblivion's success, steamworks, hardcoe fan base handling, etc).

It's good to see that someone here actually thinks, lol. And, I haven't been enrolled long, but I know how these forums work. I've definitely had my share of seeing repeated posts, etc. I've followed Skyrim closely since its announcement, so most of the topics these people are posting are nothing new, and it is sad. Although it's a discussion, I feel like carrying on one topic into 4 was never necessary, at least for something uncertain. You would think even with so much anticipation, people would use their head and not use rinse and repeat to keep it going. I think it should end, and just have an announcement in the main section. It would certainly help with all the clutter that is already on there. I mean, in the end it's no different than a topic like "This is what I think should happen" or "This is what I don't like." I didn't think I'd come to an official forum of Skyrim, and find kids bickering about what's not included, what isn't announced, isn't delivered, etc. That's why I found this to be disrespectful in the first place, along with those other threads.

Yeah, I couldn't imagine. I was happy to see the footage, but it was removed faster than I could breathe. I ended up sharing one video with the community, and it was immediately removed. The whole 'we don't want shaky cam footage' thing is understandable, but I think Bethesda wants to deliver it themselves, not have someone who doesn't have the right show it first. Well, they do have the right in a sense, but Bethesda wants first base. lol
