Heh, Im studying too for game development bachelors course final year, someday i hope to be employed in the likes of crytek etc. I absolutely love this new interface for the portal, absolutely amazing, and i cant believe youve made your own forum application on here rather than using other commercial ones simply incredible expertise.

Heh, I'm studying for the same goal, Bachelors Degree in Games Development final year. Some day i hope to be employed in the likes of crytek etc, but till then I'll stand in awe at the expertise they show simply looking at this portal surprises me that they don't use any commercial software for the forum rather making their own.

PopCap makes amazing games. You can't become a proper game dev if you can't appreciate their awesomeness.

I'm getting a post bach degree in game development with a programming focus. **** is so cash. First day of my first class, the prof asks "Ok, so, who here is a noob?" That was the exact moment I knew I was right where I belonged. :D

I'm currently learning the basics of computer games design. I'm not just making it, but I'm also understanding the political side of it too. Very interesting I must admit.

Next year at college is going to be a great year. I'm going to be using a programming language called Dark Basic, great for beginners.

I'm also doing a few level design work on Crysis, hopefully it will be good.

Im an aspiring games modeller/texturer, and have been an on and off me.

I also have made a few 2d games.
Incidentally, I have just created a 2D top-down engine for a cannon fodder/crysis influenced game. I have managed to create the movable character with the suit functions, health and suitenergy working correctly.
As of yet ,cloak and strength just turn the variables on or off , and change the sprite,. The enemies will decide if they can see him, or how much damage to take. But i havent got any further yet.

Its just a personal project, as i just like figuring stuff out.

Well done splizer^ (last post), I just couldnt get on with blender at all.
