updat 1.2 on Xbox One

Post » Fri Jan 22, 2016 3:53 am

Im running fallout 4 on an Xbox One. Can anyone tell me how I can verify which version of fallout 4 Im running? I though it might be in the help system but I dont see it there. Also, can anyone tell me how to apply the update if I need it?

Thanks, in advance for any help you can provide.

In fallout 3 I think it was on the bottom corner of the load screen but [censored] knows where it is now. I'm in the pub so I can't check.

Usually it is in the load screen for the game.

It might also be in the applications list in whatever they call the file manager for the console where they list what you have installed.

IIrc if you bring up the load/save screen it is in the lower right hand corner. mines says 1.2.37. if it wasn't up to date it should have prompted you to update the game right after the patch was out.

Update. Back from pub.

On the Xbox one version on the save/load screen in the bottom left corner it has the Bethesda logo and on the upper left it has my gamer tag and sixy picture. There's nothing in the right corners, can't find it in settings and help just does an annoying little snap thingy. I might just be being daft though due to alcohol.

As long as your hooked up to the internet though it should upload automatically I think.

Thank you all for your responses. It isn't in my lower left or right hand corner of the laundh screen nor is it in the center. I realy think that Bethseda should adress this before sending out more updates. Surely I cant be the only one with this issue.

go into the game all the way to where you are ready to start playing then press the button that brings up the quick save screen, I'm pretty sure that it's in the lower right hand corner of that screen.

Nope it isnt there. Im wondering if this has something to do with the fact that I downloaded it from the microsoft store? One other thing. The game crashed on me and I had to re-install it. does anyone know if the patch would be there on the re-installed version of the game. I bought it before the patch was released and re-installed it after the patch.

Not sure how that would work but I think it would update with the patch.

I will check where I seen that version number when I get home this evening. Just going from memory right now, that's why I said pretty sure.

On the xbox one it should be in the settings menu in the game menu when Fallout has launched.

On the main screen, click on Settings. It will be in the lower right corner of the sub-menu.
