2.2 Gb update... And nothing?

@probatti....

I agree, the fixes that Bethseda is making, is making them seem very petty. At least it makes me wonder if one of their bug fixers is seriously mentally ill. Or has OCD to a dangerous level :wink_smile:.

Every second they are wasting on fixing small things. Like say the rug glitch that makes the settlement building on console livable. Is time wasted on fixing game ruining bugs for other players. Now if all those mountains of bugs (as many people seem to get a variety of issues) are fixed, then fixing these minor bugs is acceptable.

Seriously would people rather see the console rug leveling, Collison fixing glitch removed. Which isn't a cheat by the way, it's a work around of a horrible collision system for console. Or would they rather see a way for console players to actually work with collision like PC players can? Or maybe see the attackers on settlements not able to teleport though impossible defenses?

The whole Preston thing, besides these extremely petty fixes seems like someone needs a vacation. Or some sessions with a doctor.

Seriously, nerfing Preston's 5 radiant quest entirely. That seems unbalanced. Why not just flag them as radiant quest that players who are done and have nothing to do can pick as chat options. Instead of just childishly muting his quests.

I'm sure it is nothing like this, and it might just seem like childish reactions at times. But the more these strange fixes to minor problems come up. The more it seems one of the programs can't admit minor mistakes/gltiches of his wonderful design. And his /her ego causes them to obsess on the minor things. Instead of fixing the really glaring issues with the game.

The issue wasn't the radiant quests with preston, the issue was preston sending us to the same location with the same quest we already did the last time. There isn't much of a variety in radiant quests or locations with preston.

I would like better radiant quests for preston involving new materials to fix the houses which over time they do indeed fix the houses(the clowns at sanctuary) not just one house with the power armor station.

I play on the PC and never use cheats to add items to the game. Why, who knows? It just doesn't feel right to me. I used to play on console and I can see where people are frustrated when they have something taken away from them. I still have not forgiven them for "fixing" the Riverwood Trader glitch. For those of you who haven't played Skyrim, the original game gave the Riverwood Trader shop something like 11,000 gold. It was so nice to be able to sell all of my stuff there without traveling to every merchant. Then they decided it needed to be "fixed" in a patch. :(

So this time around, my character is going to bite the bullet and get all of the Strong Back perks to try to build a decent sized settlement.

@Stealthblade....

That would be a problem. The radiant quest send you to the same areas. Probably only 3 different locations. But in my play throughs it rotated it just not enough to not be annoying. But that is a problem with Fallout 4, different people experience different bugs. My wife gets totally different bugs/glitches. And were playing on the same XB1.

Still I feel punished having lost 10 radiant quest to the main quest line. Then losing Preston's radiant quest. Hopefully the DLC will give those past the main story more radiant quest to do.

Either way he could be very annoying, as he always sent you to a settlement. But I'd rather have the radiant quest be the same place over and over again. Instead of none at all.

Honestly, I don't talk to him unless I'm looking for a quest or I'm maxing his relationship with me, to earn his perk. So it is a none issue for me. But for others it was extremely annoying, thus the shut down.
