I'm glad it all worked out for our PS4 friends.
I Ninja'd Gstaff. Win For The Day.
We'll still see how it all goes. By the looks of it, it seems more limiting now than before it was cancelled.
It is, but some mods are better than no mods at all.
Well, at least PS4 players are getting some mods. It's still disappointinly limited, no external assets which basically means only esp-files are allowed.
Well, it's a step forward -certainly better than having no access to mods at all.
Does no external assets mean stuff like custom followers and new monsters are out? Still, even with the new restrictions it's something. Maybe Sony is just testing the waters with this and if nothing explodes they'll allow more freedom.
unless they changed it since the Oblivion or Morrowind days, pretty sure the esp's contain any scripts
Unsurprising how limited it turned out to be, but I suppose its better than nothing.
Rick, CK is not available for consoles, you misread that.
Kudos to both Bethesda and Sony for finally getting something worked out. Yes, it may be limited mod support, but it's way better than nothing at all.
I know some people are going to complain and be grouchy at the restrictions, but I'm personally happy with this outcome as it stands.
you can't make anything on the XBox version either..
only those with the PC version can actually create mods, console users are reliant on the mods the PC players make, thats why PC gets the free upgrade
What is the bottom line price for said graphics card to be able to pull 4K? Like $120-$150?
I see what you're getting at but Little Big Planet is a game that was designed from the very beginning for players to create their own little levels within it and share them, and like you said yourself, it's a very, very simple game compared to a Bethesda game. A big difference between building a creation program for a relatively simple, sidescrolling, platforming game as opposed to one for a open world RPG like Skyrim.
Also, there really isn't any reason for Bethesda to make a creation kit for consoles, especially since it would be a watered down, harder to use version of what is already available.
If modding and creating mods is something you're very interested in then PC is really where you're gonna have to go for all that.
