G.E.C.K. update?

Post » Thu Feb 25, 2010 5:56 pm

I know that the devs have their hands full fixing the actual game, of course, especially this time of year. But I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask: Are there any plans to release a bugfix update for the G. E. C. K.? Cluttering is painful without working Havok. I mean, player homes and such are simple enough, but I can't place corpses, tipped-over objects, and the like and get a reliable sense of what they'll look like in the game.

No sense hoping such an update will be soon, but is there hope for the future or should I give up on making NV quest mods and go back to FO3? Surely the version that the developers used to make the game still had this working; it's gotta be something silly preventing it from updating the physics when the option is enabled, as FO3's GECK had working physics.

Mucho thanks to the developers. It's a brutal gig, and the fans are never satisfied.

I'm sure there will be.
If you look back at the TESIV CS, and the FO3 GECK, they released bug fixes. The bug fixes for the editors get a back seat to bug fixes to the game, though.

Note, the physics is (semi) functional. It's not good, but if you really need to place some objects with physics, it does work to select your objects, click the physics button and then right click any one of the objects to advance the physics calculation step by step.
