GI update today

I wonder how this'll be explained (if at all) in-world, though. If I can walk into town and buy a gigantic nordic silver claymore, I'd be surprised if iron broadheads and raven-feather fletching were a highly limited resource...

Or perhaps the number of arrows one can carry at a time is what's meant?

Perhaps the material of the arrows plays a role. Iron tips don't work as well, but are more available. Daedric arrows will be the Anti-Armor rounds.

Might Hand-to-Hand be included in the Athletics skill?

setting the environment on fire... ice appearing on enemies' skin... holding the spell causes it to behave differently... we can create ELEMENTAL TRAPS?!

magic is definitely sounding incredible in skyrim... its a good thing i play a combat+magic combination, because i wont need to choose between the two! :D

from the sounds of it, combat will be more dangerous, i hope so... i dont wanna feel invincible right from the start of the game.

also, no more turtling... holding the block button causes a bash attack, instead of holding your shield up indefinitely.

...and no more running into battle with 200 arrows and finding 500 more on your travels... thats good, everyone should have to struggle!

it'll also make you REALLY want to fetch every single arrow you can, if you're still able to do that, because those 2-3 arrows you leave stuck inside a troll could quite possibly save your life.
