I'm aware the EU and NA currently share the same data center they'll eventually be moved to EU come launch this is just a chance to test the overflow servers.

Yeah, the same here. Initially has a few smaller patches then a 4+ish gb patch. Speed has remained constant though.

Too many people attempting to login, try again shortly I've heard people are getting kicked out of the server because of high volumes of players logging in at once.

whole lotta downloading - no idea how much has come down so far - still at around 35-40% hopefully servers be up for hour or two - be nice to see my beta characters again

That's probably because they are testing the Overflow server. I'm guessing that's the only server that is up right now.
