I have to agree... why? It's not like we can do anything with the updated data.

Wish they would leave beta servers open by the night and go to sleep forgetting that servers are open

@Navhkrin, same but hey, while the server is down ZOS is updating the beta and game even more. So there's that.

You cant, some can

Considering weekend beta test is using diffrent patches then the PTS build and they are upgrading now there might be a chance for another test soon

To have to patch less in the future should they push out even more data.

I wouldn't want to be to far behind the current build when everyone smashes the server during the launch day. There is always a chance the patch server goes down, but the login server and everything else is fine. Leaving those that haven't patched high and dry while the rest of us play. It isn't likely, but I've seen it happen.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKzi6yqui2s commented in today's show that there is a beta this weekend. I'm sure it's not for everyone and all of the clients may just be getting a general update.

Oh yea?! Well perhaps I'll download the update, print it out and make a fort from the reams of paper! That'll show you...

Stop teasing us, ZOS T-T

When topics like this give me a mini heart-attack, I know that I made the right decision buying this game :P

Interesting, most of the time when their is a BIG patch, a Beta will happen next weekend or a week later. It that seems to be the pattern thus far. Also, explains the lack email asking for feedback as well.

To bad the patch notes are hidden behind the closed beta login screen. :stare:

Bit off topic here but do they play in the beta weekends that most of us are playing in? I didn't see any level 50 characters during our beta weekend.

I guess it might be simpler to think of two separate ESO beta versions as the 'friends and family' beta that has been going on for a year and the 'everyone else' beta for those limited to recent weekends.

I think they lifted the NDA on patch notes for 18 after it being displayed for a week all over the net.

My guess is they are updating across the board but this weekend is closed to the general masses. That way if anything needs tweaked, they can do it in a small patch next week for everyone to be invited back for the weekend of the 14th.
