My question is.....

Is there an upper limit for the speed of magicka regeneration? Currently my char wears Archmage's Robe which regenerates magicka %100 faster and Ring of Resurgence which regenerates magicka %80 faster. Are they effectively in total %180 faster or is there limit for regeneration, such as % 100.

The effects of multiple sources of increase magicka regeneration speed are indeed additive and can exceed 100%.

Food and potions stack with the enchants also as does attribute enhancement with "Stones" and gifted attributes.


I think that you can get it up to around %300-350 , I could be wrong but I think that I have my mage pulling 325 without a Stone or Gift that gives Regen bonus.

Since you can fortify the various magic skills to the point where the spells cost no magicka at all, there was little point in capping regeneration.

Also, there are some 150% magicka regen robes around. I have yet to duplicate this through "normal" enchanting, as opposed to "restoration glitch" enchanting

The best regen experience is when you get the temporary boost from cleaning the focal point for the illusion mage professor. I was very confused first time I encountered it. I thought I broke the game.

100% from ritual stone

150% from master robes

25% from amulet of akatosh

10% from shrine of akatosh

depending on your enchanting level, perks and fortify enchant potions you can get a lot on your helmet and ring aswell

Master robe (150%), Recovery from Restoration at 60 skill (50%), lvl 40 Ring of Recovery (100%) from store or loot and you get 300% without having to rely on enchanting. My regen setups are typically 300-350% with self made enchanted items.

Morokei is also 100% magic regeneration.

Vampires can be found with armors that are combination magic regeneration and cost reduction for a magic type (ie: Destruction, Alteration, etc).

With those two above, plus the Nightweaver's ring and perks I've managed to reduce my Destruction cost to nothing, and can bounce back from zero magicka fairly quickly.
