Do I use the CK or tes5edit to remove something a mod does?

I want to use the requiem mod but it does a couple things that I don't like. When you're a vampire in requiem it makes it so that it's permanently bright and blurry when you go outside, not just the temporary effect that vanilla has.

I would imagine that it's a simple fix to undo, but I'm not sure where to go. I've used tes5edit for mod cleaning, but I can see that it has more capabilities than just that. Do you know where I would go to find whatever affects the outside vampire visual effect?

Edit: Actually I found a script file called VampireSunISMDEffectScript.pex that requiem installs. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm thinking that just deleting that would fix the problem.

Deleting a script is not a good idea. You can try blanking the script: open VampireSunISMDEffectScript.psc, remove every line except the top one and compile the script.

You could also private message the mod author to add sky ui option for to enable/disable it. But yes qqqbbb is right merely deleting it you will run into trouble.

i would just edit it from within the CK, see if its attached through an alias, or how and where it is being used.

but would make backups of saves and mod first. or find out how its being used then post back here. deleting it wouldn't be a good idea though,

maybe
