useful and positive info

Post » Thu Dec 31, 2009 10:49 am

Since all I see lately has been trolling and useless junk, I thought i'd start a thread for strictly useful and positive feedback. Please post here only with positive things to say and helpful info. I'll start - I love the game and I think the sp is the best. The graphics and lighting are some of the best ever and I love the different ways that you can approach the objectives. Mp is way different than anything else that I have played and I think with a few tweaks, I can see myself playing it for a long time. The online seems to be alot more mature as compared to cod series also. Hvent been in a game yet with flaming. What positive feedback do you guys have?

LMAO.....I like your positivity, but until they fix the many issues the game has, especially online, all you will get are fanboys and the ignorant to anyone elses problems

But...SP has one of the best Story campaigns I have seen in many a year for the 360, visually its the best looking game on the console.

It stops there because of its issues

I just thought it might be a be good to have a place where positive people can go to and leave comments that add to the experience insted of taking away from it. I actually enjoyed the game immensely until I come on here and hear all the negative things that are vomitted everywhere. Sure there are changes that could make it better, but it is quite a fun experience for me as is. This is simply a place to leave positive feedback and tactics, loadouts, etc that will help us enjoy it more. By now, I am sure they are aware of all the issues and complaints that we could share.

No it doesn't, but the people that are having issues have now been well documented. That is why I have made this thread to be for positive feedback only. If you have negative issues, then there are a plethora of places on these forums to post it, just not here as this is for the positive comments only. Thank you for respecting this in the future.

They did make the best SP FPS I have ever played. It's seriously the only one I have EVER played more than once because most SP games are boring as ****. I had fun with it tho and I only experienced minor problems with it.

MP has tons of potential too... Only complaint I have with Crytek is their lack of communication. Hopefully they'll make up for it with a ridiculously huge patch to fix all or most of the issues with MP. *crosses fingers*

The topic heading says positive and useful info. If it is either positive or useful in a positive way, it is therefore welcome. Hope this clears it up.

useful tip - you can change the use of the grenade launcher in sp to lay down proximity mines by the same function key that changes rate of fire on other weapons.

Also - you can melee while in midair while cloaked.

Another useful tip- you can melee while sliding. By pressing the melee button while sliding, you can kick someone in mid-slide.

FYI, the game tells you that you can do that in it's own tips during loading. Try letting the load screen sit for a while and reading all the game tips. That's my tip.

tip - one of the souveniers in the campaign is in hte submerged statue of liberty before you go into the lab that is partially submerged. You have to dive under it to acquire it. Pretty neat place to hide it.

There is an achievement for getting 5 kills using a sliding melee....easiest way to do it is with the little bug Cephs you find in the subwar tunnels, more then enough of them there for you to do the sliding melee instead of shooting them or just stomping with the standard melee attack

hey what is the best way to get armor exp? i use it all the time, but after the round I get very few exp points...seems stealth is easy to get large amounts of exp after each round.

another tip - if you will use nanovision is areas where you think that special items are, sometimes it will help highlight them for easier snatching.

One easy way is to immediately armor up at the beginning of a round as you travel to the fray of battle. Every little bit helps.

tip - the way to get the highest point achievement on Skyline is to climb on the little shanty next at the sniper overlook and the superjump and run up the highest peak of the main bldg in the center.

Since your getting large amounts of stealth exp instead of armor tho you say you use armor all the time I can only assume you're like the rest of us.... You stealth and run to the fight then switch to armor before you kill your target?

When you do this you get stealth exp instead of armor exp. Any kill within 8 seconds of coming out of stealth is considered stealth EXP regardless of what mode you're in at the time. So in order to get armor exp you need to stop killing people immediately after leaving stealth.

great tip guy. Glad to see you are contributing to the cause. Yes, indeed, if you press the right trigger, it does fire your primary weapon. Good one!!!
