User stats for Skyrim

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 6:08 am

Any ideas on whether user stats will be kept on a Bethesda website for all the fun had in Skyrim? Obviously stats can be checked in game on Oblivion/Fallout, etc. I'm curious though if it will be expanded and include online stuff. I'm thinking of something along the lines of what Rockstar or Bungie has set up for games. If this has been covered somewhere else I will apologize in advance.

Personally I never gotten the whole showing your single player info online, I find it as much manhood waving as trophies/Achievements.

You mean like "Necks bitten", "Hours slept", "People killed", "Damsels saved" and so on?

Seems a bit pointless to me, especially with people being able to mod, on pc, their games the way they want.

If Skyrim is bound to steam, then yes, you will be able to see peoples stats and achievements from the PC. You just won't probably see the stats on the bethesda website, it will be on the steam system. You'll be able to see peoples stats and achievements on xbox live for the xbox 360.

Well, they have to get the stats page to work first. I assure you I've broken more than 9 lock picks.
