Ha.

I use a controller. I prefer it, I find it more relaxing and I'm not a fan of the "MORE CONTROL" argument. I don't go out of my way to make games easy for myself.

When I was on PS3 it was controller all the way. Then I wanted to switch to PC but I had no interest in using Keyboard & Mouse because I thought I wouldn't be able to do it so I hooked a gamepad up to my computer. It wasn't as good as the PS3 one though so I tried to get used to K&M. Now I've gotten so used to K&M that when I played on my PS3 recently, I was all discombobulated and could completely see what people had been saying about the accuracy of K&M and having more control assigning keys and all. I don't want to go back to a gamepad; it's great to play on K&M!

This is the lamest response ever. People can't argue that KBM is superior for control, and so implicitly try to undermine it using the 'it's too easy argument' in one form or another.

Keyboard and Mouse, definitely. I've reached my hardwired limit of learned user interfaces, so the controller would result in handing it to someone else and saying "play it for me". Not an option.

I like both, a controller allows for a more relaxed position with my setup right now so I use one. Would switch right back if I'm playing an archer or mage though.

Keyboard and mouse. It's mostly because that's what I already have set up, and it works out pretty good for me. Also, I see no reason to spend even more money on an item as unnecessary as a controller when my system's price tag is already high enough as it is. I'm also too damn old to be trying to use one of those things now.

I'm undermining?

I really don't care how you play. Do whatever you like.

Keyboard and Mouse is better. Happy, now?

Yup, you were attempting to undermine the inherent superiority of a mouse by implying it makes the game too easy.

Keyboard and mouse, because hotkeys are for the win.

K&M for me.

Nothing against controllers. I like them for some games, like racing games or more action oriented games like Assassin's Creed or Prototype.

Wow...

So if I don't like something I'm passing it off as some inconcievably stupid mechanic, now? I don't like broccolli. Am I undermining that, now?

Seriously, I'm just saying I don't like it. I really couldn't care less what's more popular and what you use.

I actually bought a controller just for Skyrim, and now deeply regret the waste of money. Maybe I'd think differently if I weren't 100+ hours in and using an archer, but the K&M is so much easier.

I like Keyboard and Mouse...

Keyboard - Hotkey items, better "comanding" IMO.

Mouse - Better aiming with Magic and Archery, and also better movement than the "joystick" IMO.

This.

If I plug my PC into my TV via HDMI Cable I will turn on X-padder and use the Controller.

I wanted to use a controller, but since there's only 2 hotkeys on the controller, I had to go m&k.

I generally alternate from 1-2 weeks of keyboard and mouse to 1-2 weeks of my Logitech F310 gamepad. I like the anolog movement control for speed and direction with the controller; I enjoy having hotkeys on the keyboard. I'm on keyboard and mouse right now. I'm definitely happy about how well Skyrim supports the gamepad compared to Oblivion, which had no gamepad support in menus.

controller for some reason me and keyboards and mouse just don't get along. In oblivion I struggled to make it out of the sewer at the beginning pretty sure it's my crappy mouse.
