Using Add on disks on a 360 slim

Post » Fri May 04, 2012 8:48 am

Hi all!
Sorry if this has been covered, humour me, Im new.
I have the (dlc) add ons for fallout 3 on disk, but I cannot play them on a 360 slim as it keeps looking for the memory module that exists in the old one but not the slim.
Anybody else have this problem, and do you have a fix?

Hope you do!

I assume that the "memory modules" that the game is asking for is the hard drive. I had the same problem but luckily there's a fix.

There is a hidden slot in the Xbox 360 Slim that Microsoft didn't bother to tell anyone to install the hard drive. But the thing is, you'll need to rip the plastic off and slide it inside the slot. You can Google it if you don't know how to install a hard drive in a Slim.

The disk detects the hard drive instead of the Internal Memory. That's why it's not installing.

EDIT: When I mean slide "it" inside the slot, I mean the metal hard drive after you rip it apart.
