Fus Ro Dah is the best way to get that stubborn companion out of the doorway they're blocking.

Throw Voice seems to work just as well with only one word as it does with 3. I use it quite frequently as well

I use a mix, but so far Fire Breath (with the bonus) and UF are my two most common. I use UF in tight spots to slam enemies into walls.. or my favorite.. on tower and mountain top type places to toss them over the edge

I just started with the voice throw one.. thought it was kinda funny. Haven't experimented with the others much.. I suppose I should do that. :whistling:

None of them are game changers. They are novelties at best.

When you can beat the crud out of everything in the game with little effort it doesn't make a difference if you dance around a bit first.

I have shouted 1057 times, apparently my faviourite spell is 'Become Etheral', probably because i use it so much when im climbing huge mountains, and then i make quick escapes by jumping off, i use Become Etheral to survive the fall ^_^ ... but my faviourate offence shout is Yol Toor Shul (fire breath), but i also use alot of other spells during combat, such as mark for death, and Dragonrend when fighting Dragons (not that thats hard anymore)..

I have quite a number of shouts already: frost breath, fire breath, the one that calms creatures, the one that clear the skies, the Flash one and the one that reduces armor. But I find myself constantly using only the good old fus ro dah.

Even though it has a fairly long cool down (45 seconds after using the three words) it is a very good crowd control and I usually only have to use it once during a hairy fight to give me time to heal/buff myself.

What other shouts do you think is useful and in what situations?

combat wise as a mage I only use three shouts, ethereal, freezing, and force;
ethereal for fights/situations where is hard or impossible to kite and damage is dangerous, this is very rare tho, force when Im fightting frost resiting mobs/bosses that cant be freezed/dont last very long, and freeze is my main shout, since it allows me reprieve when my mana is too low to cast paralysis or simply when I want a large group of mobs setup for my, limited use, of master rank aoe casted spells.
edot: oh forgot to say slow time I used alot vs other casters and archers, because it allows me to avoid missing spells alot, aswell as dodge their spells/arrows aswell.

as a warrior I use alot of different shouts tho, well not having almost all keybinds filled with tons of different spells help, but I use force vs bosses/hard liutenants, yol, for dmg and dmg multiplier, wuld for escaping or quickly closing the gap, the dark brotherhood one on armored dudes (I love swords too much to go for axes or maces) and I think thats about it.

Slow Time.

To be quite honest, I find the shouts Overpowered so I try to use them the least I can :P

The only time I break the rules is when I meet a particulary annoying frost mage.

THOSE BASTARDS JUST MAKES MY BLOOD BOIL! RAWRG!

I use wuld there :)

Marked for Death is best for warriors

Used that one really late I preferred Elemental Fury for my Battleaxe wielding Nord in Light Armor (yay! for "natural" 50% stamina regen)

One thing about Animal Alliance turned me off: If you have a follower/companion he/she/it will still attack the animals you put under control so it was useless too me since my wifey always killed them before I could put them to good use.

I haven't found enough shouts but at the moment I use frost most of the time, and sometimes fire. And of course the mighty ARROW TO KNEE.

Ice Form is fantastic for crowd control, or preventing things from running away. It's super useful for acquiring a daedric object which may or may not be related to astronomy.

I am mostly using Ice Form, Unrelenting Force, Fire Breath, Become Ethereal and Elemental Fury. The last one is probably the most useful for powerful enemies.

Unrelenting force makes fighting giants feel like a walk in the park. (I do have to admit there is quite a hurricane in the park, but still xD)

Nothing is more fun to watch then a sabre cat or bear running at you with full speed just to fly past you frozen solid, instead of doing the " cool guys don't look at explosions " you do cool guys don't look at frozen animals. Just leave them in that form while you just walk away lol

Ice Form is by far one of the best in the game, fire and ice just seem to piss people off more then harm them for me.

I'm playing a sword and shield warrior and my favourite Shout is become ethereal. I love using this to close the gap when fighting mages/archers. You can smell the fear as back away casting spells/firing arrows to no effect, knowing my blade is about to impale them.

I also use marked for death, elemental fury and whirlwind sprint.

If I find myself with like 3 Draugr Scourges and a Deathlord = Disarm and pick up their weapons. Their fists are really weak I must say.
If I see a bandit on a cliff the OCD takes over and I have to use Unrelenting Force so I clearly see him bumping from rock to rock...
If I see a gang of filthy Thalmor I usually free the prisoner and then Ice Form the rest, then I kill them off one by one.
If I find myself not doing enough damage, it's time for Marked for Death.

I basically have all Shouts, but it seems that I use Disarm, Unrelenting Force, Ice Form and Marked for Death pretty often.
