Using console commands to find Serana

Post » Tue Jul 08, 2014 3:57 am

Hey, I just came back to Skyrim again and am trying to find Serana. I use the console commands

player.moveto 02002b74

or

moveto player 02002b74

Neither work, it says compiled script not saved or something and I don't understand why. Please help

Try "prid 02002b74" (without quotation marks of course), that'll put her id up at the top. Then type in moveto player, without typing in the id again since it's at the top of the console. That works for me.

Press the tilde (~)

prid 02002b74

moveto player

Exit the console and she should be there.

It says item 02002b74 not found for parameter. I am doing the Dawnguard questline

Spoiler
I am trying to find the 2nd Elder Scroll, I haven't played before so can't remember in detail what happened before, is Serana not accessible at this time?

I got your PM. !!!!!

What's your active quest right now, in your Skyrim's quest journal ???

-------

Do you have any previous save with Serana ??? load that save, click on Serana and write down her ID

Then open again your recent save and put her id with the same commands as above.

Or just try those below: (on your existing save)

Press the tilde (~)

prid 03002b74

moveto player

Exit the console

If you're using the unofficial patches, try item 03002b74 instead of 02002b74.

ETA - if that doesn't work, post your load order, at least the .esm part of it anyway.
