Someone on another Fallout 4 forum said that using console commands stops trophies and achievements, is this true?

No. That was true in FO3 and FNV, but not Skyrim and FO4.

People don't just use console commands to cheat, you know. Since there's still no [censored] fov slider.

And the fact that you need to use it to get a custom-named save game. Also, tcl helped me get over several nasty bugs and disable allowed me to clean stuff in my settlements that game for some reason did not allow (like those skeletons at Starlight).

Besides, NV's protection was pointless. Just restarting the game was all that you needed to become worthy of the trophy. It hurt me, who liked to have custom save games, more than it hurt cheaters.

So no BthrdOfSteel, it really shouldn't.

I pretty much use it to battle certain bugs. Like the Vault 75 glitch. Without the console commands, I would have been screwed.

And TCL. TCL is your friend. Love having my character slip in an area of the game that they can't get out.
