Using cutom mouse buttons in-game

Is it considered "cheating/unfair" if I use my Logitech Setpoint software to bind, say , the Air support key onto one of my mouse buttons?

IMO, I think it should be legit, given I'm only maximising the functionality of my mouse buttons, but I'd like CryTek's stance on this. What I consider cheating is stuff like aimbotting/wallhacks, stuff that actually helps players lock-on to enemies. The software concerned is merely for convenience, because despite CryTek's efforts to streamline the keyboard controls, they are still very clunky to use without Setpoint.

In COD4, whenever I enable the Setpoint software on punkbuster servers, i always get kicked for using such software, whereas beforehand they were Ok about this :(

Let me know your opinion by posting a reply on this thread.

Thanks in advance.

Of course it isn't cheating...

In STALKER Call of Pripyat I had Flashlight on Sensitivty Decrease, nightvision on Document Flip and the PDA/map on the 'Forward' button on the side of the mouse.
