Using dark powers to do good things?

Let me begin by saying that I use RP to create the story of every character that I play, and that I usually try to keep my characters on "the good side of things". My current character is a pure mage, and I thought that it could be fun to use dark magic for a change (conjuration, necromancy, etc). Now as I still would like my character to be on the "good side" (at least at the bottom of his heart), he would not perform necromancy on innocents or civilians, only on those who really deserves it. I actually think I'd also let him become a vampire lord, RP'ing that the only way to defeat the evil vampires is to infiltrate them and use their own powers against them.

Hope to get your opinions on this. Does this sound like an interesting build/character? I know I'm probably taking the RP'ing a bit far with the vampire-thing, but honestly, the meaning behind this whole game is to play it the way you want. And I certainly don't feel bad about any conjuration/necromancy despite playing a good charachter. After all; we already have Phinis Gestor, right?

It is an interesting rp. But Necromancy is not particularly an evil magic. Yes, most necromancers are evil. But there are some that use it for good. As for the VL, there are good vampires (Count Hassildor in Oblivion) and bad (Lord Harkon or that Falmer in DG).
