The mic could mishear you and suddenly you burst into flames.

With great power comes the ability to set yourself aflame with dragon shouts.

If this was on the Nintendo DS (which kind of has a mic), then yes.

If you're talking about the other console or PC systems, than no, thank you.

I say no because then we would have to buy a mic and then we would have to make sure to say the word correctly in the right accent and everything. I say some regular English words a bit weirdly sometimes, let alone a made-up dragonic language, lol. What happens if the game misheard me?

Apparently this is how it could hurt haha

I think it would be kinda a cool feature, not something I'd acctully ever use, but I look at it and go wow thats cool.

As long as it's not mandatory I don't care. I would prefer to not have to yell into a mic to play Skyrim.

NO!

taken from the game informer update about dragon shouts:

The amount of time you hold down the shout button is how many words come out,

there is a SHOUT BUTTON... theres no screaming at the television or computer, i wish people would stop making these topics over and over again. :banghead:

For every word you utter into the mic you drop your attractiveness to the opposite six by 15%.

It's a neat idea, but all the voice recognition programs I've seen be used have of had problems with actually being able to tell what people are saying. A lot of people would potentially get uber pissed if a Dragon Shout failed to activate in an important fight after yelling it into their mic, or at least I know would.

Let's see how it'll look like:

*Cue J.D.'s Imagination Music*

Me: *Into microphone* RAAAAGGGGHHH!!!!
Roomate: *barges into dormroom thinking I'm being murdered* DUDE!? WTF!!?
Me: Uh....
*Other guys appear behind pissed off roomate, staring into dormroom looking confused*

Anyway, GI says there's a shout button, so no need to scare friends and family by randomly screaming at the TV/computer.

Have played Tom Clancy End War with MIC and after that... i really dont want another game with such feature.

And other reason, when it get realeased i will be playing a 15h without stop for sure... me with a mic Shouting like a Crazy Sick Enraged Nord Warrior at 4 am (Roleplay FTW) would scary every one on my house =x

I'd say yes because I am already annoying my roommate with my Skyrim anticipation. I would love to send him over the edge. I'd have to insure my PC though so it seems like a pricey feature for a game.

Yeah... not such a good idea. I can picture a drunk Joey Headwounds bellowing into his mike in a made up language at 4:30am.... and waking up the next night with a new headwound where someone had bashed him over the head for scaring the piss out of them.

Oh God, please no.

I never use the mic, not even in the occasional online game. Even having the option disturbs me greatly.
That being said, I'm sure I'll be yelling them at my screen everytime I use them, if they're as exciting as I expect them to be.

Do you all really shout at the mic? I mean wouldn't just saying the word in a normal or quiter voice have the same effect...no wonder your roommates are afraid of you. :whistling:
