Using Northmarkers in exterior cells?

Post » Sat Jan 23, 2010 10:26 am

Hey guys, I need to basically flip a worldspace around to face the opposite direction, so that it lines up properly with another worldspace I'm using. Since I wouldn't have a clue how to do that, I was hoping I could simply plop in a northmarker to get my map to face the right way. Is this possible, or will I have to use some kind of script to do it? (and if so, what's the script? :))

You should give it a try. For a large worldspace this is probably not a good solution though since you would probably have to put a north marker in every single cell (even if it would work).

Don't think it can be scripted, but not 100% sure.

Hm. It seems the CS won't even let me drop a northmarker (unless I'm doing it wrong), so it looks like that's out.

I managed to get a north marker into an exterior by copy/pasting it, but unfortunately it had no effect in game.

Is the worldspace already cluttered? If you only have a heightmap yet you could just rotate it an reimport it.

I'm not 100% sure I know what I'm doing, but I'll give that a shot. Thanks. :)
EDIT: I don't see any rotate option, and the wiki doesn't seem to mention it either. So... yeah.
