Dear all,
I have a question about potions. I cannot use potions during battle. I mean, can we put in potions belt like skills belt? When I want to use these potions I have to open inventory. This is very difficulty.
Dear all,

Use the in game help to look at quickslots, you place the potion in a quickslot and then it appears in the skill bar.
I see. I guess similar system of Oblivion.
Thank you.
Is it possible to change that quickslot appearance or whatever with an AddOn ? It was disapointing
is there hotkeys to map to the different quickslots?
I didn't notice different hotkeys for each different quickslot. But you have to bring up the quickslot wheel and click on the item you want slotted then just hit your quickslot button to use that item. If you want to switch items then you have to bring up the wheel again.
Q is mapped to the potion quickslot.
You can map multiple potions to the Q-wheel and switch between them.
Ah the obvious answer. Devs need to make this happen.
it could have ScrollMouse+Shift to scroll quckslots. Currently is it make a lot of trouble to change.
The Q scroll wheel is a terrible design, TBH. Who thought this is a good idea?
Console interface designers. I fear we will have some "consolitis" here until people write better options as add ons.
In the heat of combat its hard to open the quickslot menu, choose item and then use q to consume item. The current UI seems to non-intuitive and requires jumping thru my steps for some basic functionality. Having hotkeys to map to quickslot can easily help solve this quickslot switching hassle.
However using that wheel is just a bit faster than using invetory.
In short you are limited to one potion type during active combat its nice for selecting siege engines and other stuff there 2-3 seconds don't count much.
No you can not hurry it or you end up with the wrong one.
The idea behind the action bar set is to (relatively) limit the abilities you have quick access to which adds greater choice to the game. This is mainly for consoles, but it is what it is on PC. If you watch some veteran PvP players tho, they are very adept to their single active potion slot and will *quickly* swap to other quickslotted stuff on the fly and as needed. It's more about knowing what you have and where in the quickslot quick change wheel. I see no problem with this.
Even better let you hotkey say three of them, then use another system for selecting other like siege equipment.
Main problem I have with potions (aside from, yes, having ONE ready for immediate use with the others requiring a press-and-wait-and-select before you can use it).... is that the potions heal for, like, 20pts and you have like 500 hp.... but the higher-healing potions are level -blocked. Maybe player-created potions are much much better, but the ones I looted and saw on NPC vendors were drastically under-whelming in potency (and then have a cooldown to boot).
EDIT: Just remembered, I downloaded a Skyrim mod recently that ~autoconsumes~ potions... you set a threshhold and when you reach that level of hit points / stamina / magicka, you will auto-consume a potion. Makes me keep a closer eye on my stockpile because it's easy to forget you burned through a lot during tough fights, but it also makes combat less annoying by having to 'manually' use the potions.
The limited hotbar understand the reasoning around, the Q and hold Q then move in direction to select item then press Q again I don't. In short its an idiotic consol idea
The problem is it is a roundabout and unnecessarily complicated way to implement something that has a tried and tested way of doing it: individual hotkeys.
If limiting abilities is the idea then a hard limit on hotkey slots available would be a better way to do it, rather than making you spin a roulette wheel while being gnawed on by skeletons.
I think a simple solution if Zenimax is outright opposed to mapping quickslots to individual keys should at the very least be the ability to map keys to rotate the quickslot wheel forward and back.
As it it now it's unusable in PvP except for the one item you have set to current.
oh how Wonderfull outlander, you can make an add-on for this and help you cheat even MORE then what is allready possible!
Welcome to the console generation of conversions.
I admit it is clunky for keyboard and mouse users but after a while it kind of works ok.
There is only 1 quickslot as well so you only need one key mapped.
