USS Constitution

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 10:53 am

It would not surprise me if there were a quest involving reclaiming the USS Constitution from a band of Ghouls who think they're the British Redcoats (or maybe British Ghouls that somehow made it across the irradiated Atlantic) who want the ship as their prize. :P Maybe they make it as far as the Glowing Sea before the Sole Survivor springs a trap for them?

Although now I'm getting an image of a naval battle fought in the Glowing Sea between the USS Constitution and some other frigate. OK, I'll stop now 'cause that's a little silly. :P

We do get evidence that some Europeans could cross the irradiated Atlantic...

Which are: Moriarty, that bar owner from Megaton (He and his father came straight from Ireland), and Alistair Tenpenny.

It would be more interesting if the engines actually lets the Constitution fly...

And do battle with BoS' airship Prydwen. Hahahahahaha now that's silly XD What is this, Final Fantasy or something?

If we actually do an arial battle with the USS Constitution versus Prydwen or another airship, I'm probably going to wonder if I accidentally bought a Final Fantasy video game. xD It would not feel like Fallout at all, even if it were entertaining.

As long they don't put a Firaga or a Chocobo or a Moogle in it XD

If they do make aerial battles with those frigates ...

That would be a bit jumping the shark, don't you agree?

$20 says the explanation is something akin to "Some kooky scientist that lived here long before anyone attached those engines! No one knows why!!"

Hmmm, could be... After all, you must have the know-how to build/scavenge and install that engine. Most of the people here are leaning to the redcoat ghoul theory though! Maybe they have that kind of person crazy (and smart and capable enough) to do that...

Maybe it will be the site of a Pirate Radio station or The New version of the Enclave Radio Station.

I definitely prefer the former than the latter, except if the latter is not manned by the Enclave...

Meanwhile, I'll just hope Three Dog's VA to return...

By the Latter, I'm talking about playing all those Patriotic songs, only without John Henry Eden, because that wouldn't make much sense.
