[WIP] Uvirith's Legacy

Artimis Fowl is still taking care of BuUL. I don't think they should be in one pack though. We each have our own update schedules and it would be a logistical mess.

Currently, I'm working on more companion dialogue. I can't believe I never bothered taking my companions to Solsthiem before! The dialogue is a mess, because all the Bloodmoon npcs have nolore scripts so none of the dialogue is filtered for it! UGH! I'm writing responses for all the unfiltered regional dialogue so that my companions don't sound like crazy people the whole time you're traveling there. I'm having a bit of fun with it though, so the time spent on this is worth it.

Also, they now have weather based dialogue, and Sara and Gavyn will complain incessantly about the snow.

Fantastic mod! Been loving every minute of it, Just a small problem though.
From your guide: After you have completed the first Zhariphel Mine quest, and returned to the Telvanni Council House, Eddie will give you a note from Barusa Galdin. This note contains a ring that will teleport you back to Zhariphel whenever you like. You can also obtain this ring from Arara Uvulas.

For some reason im not reciveing a ring or the quest at all for the new council house, The journal says the first part of the quest is completed, Yet returning to Zhariphel everyone still talks about the infestation yet i killed the shalk king and it no longer respawns, But the other shalks do, The only ones that recognise that i have finished the quest is eddie, Barusa and Neloths mouth my version is 1.10, Any ideas? Thanks

That info is for the new version that's not released yet. It's a new quest that doesn't exist in the beta. The entire website has only been built recently and refers to the final release that is coming.

Sorry for the confusion. This thread is the WIP for the final release, which is why the new website is linked only here and not on PES.

I've just finished a new add-on for UL, not available for release yet, but will be packaged with the main mod once it's ready.

The Children of Morrowind Add-On!

This add-on requires CoM and will turn Gavyn and Meiree into teenagers, as they were always kind of intended to be. Info and a screenshot of them both are up on the UL website in the http://roadhunter.com/~stuporstar/Uvirith%27sLegacy_addons.html.

yes I'm so excited for this mod it's almost unhealthy :P I just really really hope none of the things that will be packaged in the final release will require MWSE :(

Well the MWSE patch will require MWSE, but all MWSE content is restricted to that add-on and only that add-on. Also, the MWSE add-on doesn't add any new content. It just improves some existing content that can really benefit from the added functionality.

Glad to here this is still progressing nicely -- Uvirith's Legacy is all that one could ask for in a stronghold, and more. Something no Telvanni should be without!

I'm playing with the latest released version but seemed to have hit a bit of a stumbling block in that the door to the upper tower doesn't exist XD, I'm just confronted by a void. I can still get there by using the transport ring but is there any chance a quick fix exists which could make the door appear again?

There's a couple things that can cause this problem. The most obvious one is a dirty save. Info on how to clean them is here: http://www.mwmythicmods.com/Archives/Mods/How%20to%20clean%20a%20saved%20game.htm

The second would be if you're using another mod that alters the mechanics of the original stronghold builds. The solution to that is to open the console and type Set Stronghold to 6. This is because of a fix I made to the original scripts, which I undid for the next version to avoid this conflict.

On the UL site of yours there is this nice screen-shot of the alchemy table.
The Alchemical tools look quite pretty.
Any idea where that replacer is from?

It's from Better Item 2.01. It's a Russian mod available at http://www.fullrest.ru/news/category/morrowind.html and it's in Russian, but it's a non-esp replacer so it works just fine. I was linked it a long time ago, and unfortunately I don't know which one it is in their list because I can't read Russian.

I don't have the version for beta players who don't want to do a full save cleaning and clear out the tower yet, since I have to go back and undo the changes to the tower and I'm saving that for when the mod is complete so that I don't have to work on two mods.

It's close to complete now though, and anything I tweak now shouldn't dirty up people's saves, so I'd like to give people the chance to try it out before it's released officially. :)

All the add-ons have been updated as well, so make sure you overwrite the old ones.

I just loaded the beta yesterday then took it out with mash today. Loaded the pre-release and am getting I think a script error regarding - menuitem and script error gp_sara_ringscript? Wont let me start a new game.
