Story of Vadar part one
(sorry about spelling please take time to read)
Vader was born of a small nordic tribe that lived off the land. They followed talks but also prayed to Hircine during the hunt and in time of eating. Vadar learned throughout his life about different religons and Gods from his mother who was the tribes shaman. Vadar has always had a close connection with the gods and was once saved by Hircine himself while hunting a large cave bear. He also regularly sees him in the form of a great ghostly deer. He had two brothers who were fierce warriors and hunters. The oldest Turn rejected the way of the tribe around the age of 18 leaving behind Vadar and his older brother Bearclaw behind. The tribe was nomadic but towards vadars coming of age they set roots in the cliffs of the reach. They battled the forswarn for the territory for years until a truce was made.
The agreement was one of the men from the nord tribe had to marry a forswarn woman and make a baby. Bearclaw accepted the offer despite the anger of his father and cheif of the tribe. The ceremony happened and the truce was active. Vadar and his tribe coexisted with the forswarn for about a year in peace. Unfortunately Bearclaw was unable to get his forswarn wife pregnant and one night during the winter they attacked.
Vadar awoke to screaming and the smell of smoke. He could hear children crying and begging for their mothers. He jumped up and grabbed his sword and tore out of his tent. The forswarn were everywhere butchering everyone in the camp. Vadar cut two down and then fought his way through them to get to the cheif tent. Bearclaw was taking heads by the numbers with his steel battle axe and was covered in blood. By the time Vadar made it to the tent he found his father and mothers heads on a pike in front of their tent engulfed in flames.
By the end of the night Vadar and Bearclaw were the only ones standing out of 25 strong nord warriors and about 100 forswarn. They decided to leave with anger and hatred in their hearts. They both fell in with a bandit group and adapted quickly to the life. Vadar eventually became the cheif once the previous one had caught an arrow to the throat during a raid on imperial ship. They ran with this crew and eventually had a ship and would constantly pirate and raid ships across Tamreil. They realized after a few months in Elswyer that there was money to be made in the skomma trade.
They tracked a khajitt ship of moonsugar as it left their country. The cats realized vadars ship was following them and decided in a last ditch effort to loose them in Black Marsh. Vadars ship pursued and was eventually capsized in an Argonne trap. They lost the boat and the 10 men crew were stranded in the strange land of the lizards. They slept one night but by morning the lizards had closed in on their location believing Vadar and his men to be slave traders. Once contact was made a lizard was struck down by one of vadars men over a disagreement of eyeballing. This resulted in his men cutting down the lizards as a few escaped into the water. Vadars men endured years of battling the natives and environment to stay alive. After six years only Vadar and Bearclaw were left.
By this time was little human of them was gone. They were as close to savages as the forswarn they still hated in their hearts. Killing and even eating the flesh of a dead comrade cooked over a fire after a battle. One day they ventured to the edge of the jungle and seen an imperial ship ancorhed a few miles out. They swam and boarded the ship and hid out in the cargo hold eating skeevers and spiders. After six months they reached skyrim.
After crossing the boarder they decided to set up camp. During the night as they slept they were ambushed by an imperial squad. Bearclaw was hit by an Archer as he killed the soldiers. He dropped to a knee and before Vadar could reach him, was cut down by an imperials sword. As Vadar in a frenzy tried to reach his brother he was knocked down by the swing of a Warhammer. If it wasn't iron it would of caved his skull in but as he awakened he seen his brother being tossed over the boarder wall and the imperials chanting "death to the storm cloaks!" Vadar full of rage swearing death on the soldiers was knocked out again and thrown into a carriage were he awoke on his way to Helgan for his execution.
