Wiki says south of Skaal Village. No such luck. Anyone that has been there care to point me in the right direction?

NNW of Nchardak which is on the ESE coast on the water. NNW of Sunstone. SSW of Bujold's Retreat, or ESE of Beast stone. or slightly NE of Ashfallow Citadel.

Is it unmarked? I seriously cannot find this place despite combing the area repeatedly. What am I doing wrong? Is there a prerequisite I'm unaware of?

If I remember correctly, the tomb is part of a quest called Lost Legacy

yes but according to the wiki you have to go to the location first before it begins

No. You have to talk to Tharstan in the Skaal Village first, and then go to the tomb. The quest is given by Tharstan.

I talked to him and it didnt activate a quest. According to the wiki, it doesnt activate until you have 1) Talked to him, then 2) visit the location. Seeing how I can't visit the location, I cant get him to initiate it in conversation...

Well, I do not know what else to do. Try clearing your cache and see if that helps.

I dont think the location clears to make the tomb accessible until youre on the quest.
You can try walking along where it is supposed to be to trigger the quest, but I know for a fact that on my characters that didnt have the quest active the entrance was blocked.

Im not even getting map markers or an entrance of any kind, I cant figure it out. Do you have to beat the Dragonborn storyline before it will work?

Yes.

You have to finish the DLC Main Quest before the quest is available. Until the main quest is complete, the tomb is inaccessible and there is no marker. Once you finish the main quest, the tomb opens up (due to a quake on the island) and the tomb icon appears.

Talk to the guy in the Skaal village. It's pretty obvious who it is, because he's the only one who isn't a Skaal.

My second character just got the quest and she has not finished the main questline yet, from the dialogue with Tharstan it seems all you have to have done previously is rescue the smith Baldor. Tharstan jumped on Aussie only a few visits after, when she went in the Greathall. The location is filled with rubble before you get the quest, so whether you have been there or not makes no difference, the marker does not appear till you get the quest.

Apparently you have to do the quest to rescue the blacksmith from the Thalmor before you can activate the quedt that unlocks the tomb. Thank you for all the help!
